Mucus Plug Or Infection?

I had wrote about me thinking my mucus plug came out. What I would like to know is when I wiped myself after using the bathroom something came out really thick like Phlem, mucus and its color was clear and a little green but again thick. I have had a little itching but nothing so bad for it to be an infection. I have had this since a little way before I got pregnant and my doctor said it was really no worry. OK so now I would like to know if it really is my mucus plug or not? I keep reading online that it can be an infection and that the mucus plug is clearish with some brown or blood to it. Right now I have no itching or anything I had put medication just incase it was an infection. I am 33 weeks pregnant and this is my 3rd child. Can u please get back to me regarding this.

well, i am also experiencing the same thing, but i am not too sure exactly what it is, i had been treated for a yeast infection, after treatment, the itch was gone but the disharge was still there.... this is my 4th child, I am not too sure like i said, but i did however read some material that said that it may be your mucous plug slowly making its way out... for myself, it has been going on for a few weeks now... and it often follows these feeling like, well like the baby is trying to push through my cervix... i do have my 36 week check up tomorrow, so i will ask my doc, and see what he says... and if I were you I would do the same... you can never be too careful...
