Once you are dilated....can you become un-dilated or begin to close back up? This is my first, and I am hoping that it isn't possible...Thanks!

Hey Courtney, to answer your question- once you start dilating there is no turning back only forward. I bet you go in the next couple of days, you are at 3cm right? Wishing you all the best!!

Yup, 3cm...go back to the dr on thursday, so i assume since i had a first chunk of contractions on sunday that there has been some progress since then! Thank you, and congrats to you as well!

Well courtney it is possible to stall at dilation and even to regress. It doesnt happen very often but it does happen. Good luck with ur contractions tho :)

No,I have never heard of that.Iam almost 2cm and 70% effaced and have 3 days until my due date.Hopefully soon!
