I thought it would be good for us to share any third trimester tips. So, I will start. As far as diet is concerned, we should be eating lots of foods with omega 3 fatty acids. They help with developing the babies brain (which is developing a lot in the third trimester) Omega 3 is found in things like fish, some eggs and there is a huge amount in walnuts. I dont like fish or eggs, so i have been going with the walnuts. 1/4 of a cup of walnuts gets you over 90% of you recommended daily intake. My other tip is more of a reminder, because its the one thing I have a hard time remembering to do....KEGELS!!!! Do your kegels, it is supposed to be great for you, help you heal quicker and reduce the chance of tearing. (I dont really know if it is true since this is my first, but that is what the books all say) Anyways they are good for you regardless, so do them!!! Look forward to hearing other peoples tips!!
