Is it possible for your water to break slowly? What would this be like if it were to happen?

Yes It is very possible it happened to me with my second child. It is a light trickle of fluid, if you bend over to pick something up it would come out more. If your panties get wet and you know you didn't pee on your self then your water probably has broke.

Yes, alot of women experience this. it may feel like you peed your pants, but you know that you didn't.

Yes, it is possible for your water to break slowly. It could be dangerous for the baby if you didn't let your doctor know so that he/she could check.

yes it is possible. you "leak" slowly. i've had it going on for about a day and it really sucks.

Your membrane can actually tear, causing slow leakage of amniotic fluid. I know because it happened to me. I was 32 weeks pregnant and stayed in the hospital with a "slow leak", lol, for 2 and a half weeks. If you are 36 weeks or further, the Dr. will fully break your sac, and induce labor. Just to let you know, my son is now almost 2 and is a healthy happy little boy!

Many doctors forget to instruct you that if you "think" your water has broken, you need to go in immediately to be checked with the "fern test" which looks for amniotic fluid leakage. Your baby is at risk for serious infection if your water breaks and the baby is not born WITHIN 24 HOURS!
