I am 39 weeks and 5 days. My water is leaking, not a gush, but leaking. Should I go to the hospital?

Yes... or atleast call the L&D and ask them, or let them know you will be coming. Your quite limited on what you can do with your water being broken. It doesnt always gush. Good Luck! Enjoy your LO you'll be meeting shortly!

yes! Call your doctor and go to the hospital...If your baby is engaged already, you may not "gush"..a lot of woman only notice leaking because the babys head kinda acts like a cork....I would say you are in labor!!!

The sooner you go to the hospital the sooner they will hook you up to monitors, machines, IV's and the less chance you have to move around and help your baby get into the proper position for birth. You should deffinately call your doctor and see what he/she recommends. If you are experiencing contractions are they in a pattern? Do they stop if you eat, drink, shower, change positions etc? My childbirth educator and my doctor both feel I should stay home as long as possible and that once the contractions get longER, strongER and closER together, is when I should make my way to the hospital.
