i have a friend who gave birth 2 weeks ago and had the same situation as urs. she was 36 weeks when she was rushed to the hospital cz of a high blood pressure, drs kept her for 2 nights to keep an eye on her bp and told her that they will need to get her baby out in the coming 2 days so she was given a steroid shot so the baby's lungs would develop faster or something like that. her bp became stable and lower after she was hospitalized and took the meds but her sugar level rised from the steroid shot.. so drs decided that since they controlled her bp, she can still have her baby grow inside for a longer period of time, but she had to take insulin injections everyday to control her sugar levels.. a week after, unfortunatel the poor girl still had diabetes and insulin really did nothing to her so she was induced and after 10 hrs of labor she never dilated enough and her baby was getting stressed so she had to have a c-sec..im sorry im not trying to scare u, but im trying to tell u that despite all the awful thins she had to go through, she gave birth at 37 weeks to a beautiful healthy baby that weighed 3.5 kgs and was 55 cms long.. she was bigger than my full term baby girl.. so its really not so early, just relax and ask ur doctors about ur baby's lung development. my friend didnt have to stay in the hospital for more than 2 nights after giving birth n went back with her baby girl home. good luck and wish u the best of luck :) |

When I had my dd, she was born at 36 weeks due to severe preeclampsia. She was fine and did not have to stay in the hospital any longer than I did with a c-section. Her lungs were fine. |

If your doctor said the baby needs to come out, than the baby needs to come out. Sometimes it's for the mommy and not the baby. It could be getting way too hard for you and they are concerned for you. |

I think you have to trust your doctor on this one. He/she is not going to do anything that would be more dangerous than the current situation. Just pray for peace and relax and let things roll. You'll be right! |
