I have recently been experiencing a lot of pain in my hands. I know that it's from swelling but how do you alleviate this problem? IF any of you know, please let me know!!! Please!!

If it is swelling that is causing the problem drink LOTS more water. I know this sounds counterintuitive but it works. I haven't been able to wear my wedding ring for the last couple weeks due to swelling but I find it is much worse when I'm not drinking enough. Bad part is you probably are already making lots of trips to the bathroom but its not as bad as the pain from swelling.

My doctor told me to lay on my left side as much as I could and drink lots of water like EM said. It really helped me alot!!

Thanks girls. I thought I was drinking a lot of water but I guess I need a little more. I haven't worn my wedding ring for the past few weeks either and I am really bothered by that. Well, any who, thanks for the info.

I agree....but also keep your hands mosturized. It will help keep your hands from being dry.
