thanks for bringing this up, i have had the same thing happen the past few weeks exactly as you have described. I just thought it was the baby balling up since there is not much room left, but if anyone knows, please share!

i was wondering theexact same thing cuz that has happened to me every day for the last week and a half! I asked my doctor about it since i had an appointment on Monday and he said it's just braxton hicks, but if it gets worse that i sould call him. I guess if you can walk and talk thru them than they aren't real contractions. I was kinda hoping it was the real deal since i'm tired of beig pregnant lol, i just want my baby in my arms

I guess we will all be delivering soon.... I've been feeling the exact same thing, My Md says our body is preparing itself for giving birth**Keep us posted**

well, today i've been feeling some pains, but they aren't contractions. whenever i feel the baby move it hurts. i wonder if it's pain from the baby dropping lower, cause i feel it right where the babys head is (more or less), and they are shooting pains, but nothing too alarming at this point. it's more weird that anything because it's my first baby and don't realy know what to expect. i know our bodies are preparig us... and that's a GOOD thing!!! how are all you feeling?

I just put this on another post: I talked to my OB the other day about this, and she said you can have BH with out your whole belly being involved. Mine tend to be at the bottom. Sometimes they start low and move up. Then sometimes my whole stomach get hard as a rock all at one time.

The very same thing has been happening to me for a little over a week. I went to my midwife appt today and apparently I have been in labor and am already 5 centimeters. Can't hurt to get checked out! I am currently 39w2d.
