Pressure/pain/baby Drop??

im only 31 w 4 d but i think ill have the baby early. unfortunately, i have HPV...and i heard infections of any kind can make you deliver early...
also, ive had alot of recurrent UTIS and because of my allergies to meds, they keep telling me theres really only the one antibiotic to cure it...that they can safely give me...which is a problem because i think im building an immunity to it. ive had three utis in under two months...
anyway. thats just a bit of background info...
THE REAL QUESTION- sometimes i have this shooting stabbing pain right under my uterus,,,near my bladder, but not the actual bladder itself...i dont know what it is...and it feels like the baby is really low. how do i know if shes dropped?? ts not the ligaments...because ive had pain in my ligaments below my uterus....you know, round ligament pain, and this is an entirely different pain. it hurts so much, sometimes i cant even stand up straight.
anyone have a clue what this is?!?!

(and or what i can do to stop these utis from coming back...how do i know if i get a kidney infection?)

I started having the exact same pain yesterday. I thought maybe I was starting to get a UTI, but it is only hit and miss. Then I wonder if maybe the baby is somehow pushing on my bladder. This is my 3rd baby and I have never felt this pain before. I am 32 weeks today and go to doc tomorrow. I will ask her about it then.

Do u know whether your babies head is already in the head down position?! I definetly know wat pain ur talkin about i have the same kind of pain starting at 29 weeks, my doc says its just the babies head moving around alot that makes you feel that kind of pain. I haven't had any troubles yet as i am 36 wks n 4days!

no i already asked the dr and he told me it wouldnt matterbecause i was only 31 wks and she would probably switch from head down to head up alot before delivery

i get that pain too, sometimes i cna't tell if it is hitting on my bladder/urethra (that is how it feels anyways) or if it is on my cervix. i am 33 weeks. it is a quick sharp pain. my Dr said it was the baby hitting it. i know she is head down right now. it hurt real bad the other night! but only for a few seconds. i think she is dropping lower too because everyone keeps telling me i look lower and when i sit down my stomach rests on my legs! and i am not overweight either. i have always been low but not quite that low!
