Spotting - Brown

I am 39 weeks pregnant, and have been spotting since yesterday evening. The color was more red at first, and is now a brownish color. It is not heavy, so I am not sure if I should be concerned or not. Please let me know if anybody else has had this happen, and whether or not it could be from an internal or if it sounds like the mucas plug. Thanks!

it could be the starting of the plug.

If you are spotting and your almost close to your due date....I would suggest to call your Dr. right away just to be safe. Goodluck!
