2 Yr Old Breathing Weird

Has anyone had any problems or know what could possibly be the issue why my daughter who is 27 months is panting. She seems to sound like she is holding her breath everytime she breaths in then lets it out really fast. It is constants but she is not sick at all, even a runny nose. Is this normal that toddlers do this sometimes?

If it is concerning you then why not make an appointment with the pediatrician to have her checked out.

Get her in now! I lost my two year old to a secondary respiratory virus that snuck in behind a common croup, which manifested with apparently innocent looking congestion and then crashed into panting and near respiratory arrest in less than 24 hours. Don't take chances with this, they seem fine one minute and then they're gone the next. Please, please, please, take her to your doctor immediately.

Thanks ladies I took her to the doctors office shortly after I asked my question and the doctor said she was fine but I am still going to keep an eye on her just in case. Thanks for your responses :-)
