Good morning ladies. It has been awhile since I was last here. I have had some major computer problems and have been living in DELL HELL for some time but a month and a couple of weeks later it is finally fixed. Well, Ethan is walking all over the place. He learned how to open all the doors, too. He is still nursing ( it is so hard to stop). He is a year and 2 months now. I had posted pictures of him at a 1 yr old and of course his cake too. I have been making quite a few cakes lately. I posted some of them on the piczo web site. Check them out. Congrats to you who are expecting. I would love another one but I think this is our last. In Vitro was a lot of money and it took a lot out of emotionally. I wish I could wake up and just take a pregnancy test and know. Ethan is saying some things like , hello, Johnny, Mark, Tris, mom ,dad, no, and of course he just babbles. He is still passing out. He has passed out about 20 times now. His dad seen it for the first time last week. I have gotten use to it, but it still scare me a little. It happens more when he is tired or gets hurt. I am off to piczo to check it any of you updated anything. Oh yeah thank god I kept up with the piczo site because we lost all he other baby pictures. Yep, they are all gone. I cried. I will never by another Dell.

Hey ladies how is everyone. LISA it's good to hear from you, Ethan sounds like he is doing a lot. Jacquelyn took her first steps the other day and she has taken some more since, so i imagine it won't be long before she is walking all over the place. She is so cute too, she is saying more and more words and if you ask her what a cow or dog says she'll respond moo or woof (to the correct animal) also we have a litte play set outside that has a slide on it. She can crawl up to the top herself, sit herself down, get her legs in front of her and then slide down all by herself. Ok ladies, my dh and i offically feel like the worst parents. Jacquelyn was outside playing and she ate a piece of mushroom growing in our yard. My dh was out there with her and he saw her put it in but by the time he went to get it she already swallowed it. So he told me and i was like "let's not panic" I looked on-line for mushrooms bout all i could find was that if your child ate something in the yard to call posion control, so i did. Basically they told me they had to treat it like she ate a posionious mushroom and to call her pedi or go to the ER. So i called her Pedi and they said go to the ER, so we did. We brought the mushroom in with us and they determined it was non-posionous and you could actually fry it up and eat it, yummy. We have insurance but it was still a $75 co-pay, plus we have a deductable so who knows what our bill will be. So that was an expensive lesson, at least she is ok, and i am greatful for that.

Hey Lisa, I am glad Ethan is doing well, sorry about all the passing out stuff, It would freak me out too! I have most of my pictures on my computer at home and reading that your pictures are gone, has made me think of how bad I need to put them on disc. I don't update the piczo because I am still poorer than a church mouse and I can't afford internet at home right now. So I use the one at work. I love your cakes. I did a ladybug cake for Kyleigh using two round pans, it turned out really cute but not as professional looking as yours. Her room is done in lady bugs so I took a picture of it and blew it up and I am going to frame it and hang it in her room. Krissy, Kyleigh eats everything! I think on a daily bases she tries to give me a heart attack. I have pulled rocks, mud, pennies, marbles (thinks to my boys), and pretty much anything else small from her throat. I am glad she is ok! Sounds like she will be walking very soon. Now is when the real fun begins. lol! Mine walked about a week after thier first steps.

kim00 - September 24th, 2008 2:02 PM

Krissy, sorry to hear about the mushroom incident. Kenadie tried to eat one the other day. I've also had to 'fish out' rocks, dirt, leaves, and a stick. Lisa, I'm sorry for the computer problems. I also have all the pics stored on my computer, but I don't have a clue how to put them on disk. Kenadie's still not walking yet. And she just got another tooth, so that makes 7 so far. Hope everyone is doing well. gotta run, she's up from her nap.

kimberly - September 24th, 2008 2:36 PM

Kim, hows the pregnancy going....sorry I guess I should know but when is your due date?

Krissy25 - September 24th, 2008 8:45 PM

It's amazing how quickly babies start to do things once they do them once. It was just a few days ago J took her first steps and and now she can walk a few feet, just think about where she will be next week. Crazy! Yes, the mushroom is just one of the many things she has put in her mouth, most of the time i catch it and pull it out but i was actually gone when she put that in her mouth, I'm thankful it happened on my dh's watch, LOL. I actually think the scariest thing i ever pulled out of her mouth was an earing and i actually pulled it out very far back. I heard her gagging on something, i have no idea how she got a hold of it without me seeing, she is so sneaky and fast.

kim00 - September 24th, 2008 9:23 PM

Kimberly, the pregnancy is going well. I'm not sick hardly at all any more so that's good. I'm due Mar 18. Krissy, an earring...that's scarry. It's amazing how sneaky they are.

Prego1 - September 25th, 2008 12:15 AM

Hi everyone....I'm back and my DD is now 12 months old. I'm trying to see if I can recognize any of the screen names here.

kimberly - September 25th, 2008 11:34 AM

Thats great , Kim! My nieces birthday is March 18th. Krissy, I'm glad Jacquelyn is walking! Such a fun milestone! Prego1, I remember your screen name. How have you been? Kyleigh is 13 months now she is doing great.

friendtilthend - September 29th, 2008 7:27 PM

Hello everyone. Ethan is doing great and he is all over the place. He opens doors. He moves things by the couch so he can get up. He is very tricky. What are your lo going to be for halloween? Ethan is going to be a skunk again. His costume still fits him. And he only wore it for 45 minutes last year. How many of us are pregnant again? I am not. Any of you nursing still? If so when do you plan on quitting? Or when did you stop? I am still nursing and I want to stop now. Ethan has started not sleeping thru the night again. I am so tired. I think that I am waking up at least 5 times a night. Are any of you having this problem? or am I the only one?

Krissy25 - September 29th, 2008 8:10 PM

Hey LISA, Jacquelyn is going to be a ladybug for halloween. I found the costume at a yard sale for only $3, can't pass that up. She will be so cute, i can't wait to see her walking around in it. As for breastfeeding, jacquelyn pretty much weened heself by 11 months. The only time i was really feeding her was in the morning when she woke up, i would bring her into bed with me but i decided to stop it b/c i basically only did it so i could close my eyes for about 10 more minutes. That is odd that Ethan still gets up so much at night, i would say at least cut out all night feedings, at his age he should be able to make it through. Well tomorrow is our 3rd year anniversary, wow time really flys. Someone saw one of my wedding pictures for the first time and she was telling me how young i looked. I'm like "umm, thanks" It was only 3 years ago, have i aged that much? Maybe i need a makeover, put me on one of those shows where, they burn all your old clothes, buy you new ones, style your hair and do your makeup, LOL

kim00 - September 29th, 2008 11:15 PM

Kenadie is going to be tigger and Kylee is going to be supergirl for halloween. Lisa, Kenadie also wakes up between 4-5 times/night. She's never been a good sleeper and cio just doesn't work for her, it wires her. I don't even know what to do with her when it comes to nighttime. She goes down easily, but it's the waking up constantly. I need to figure something out cause i'm gonna have another one in not too long. So if anyone has any ideas, let me have them.

kimberly - October 1st, 2008 10:31 AM

Lisa, I didn't breast feed Kyleigh but I did breast feed Ryan for a year and Isaac for 6 weeks. I weaned Ryan a few days after his first birthday. He was down to only morning and night feedings anyway at that time. If your ready just start cutting one feeding at a time out, until your supply starts to dimenish and then you can quit without feeling engourged. He won't like it but in a few days he will be fine with it. Ryan got very close to his paci after I quit. Kyleigh is off the bottle and has been for a month now. Krissy, I think Kyleigh will be a ladybug for Halloween too. I seen a really cute costume at Wal-Mart, Isaac wants to be a Policeman, and Ryan wants to be a Zombie. Ryans birthday is on Halloween so I am going to go all out for him this year. He is turning 10, so we are letting him have some friends over and I am going to spook the house up a little. I am going to foil the windows and put up a strobe light and scary music and stuff. I am making a graveyard cake for him and this punch that has bloody looking fingers for the ice. I think it will be really cool. The last few years I stayed away from the Halloween theme for his birthday because he wanted to pick a theme himself but this year he decided it would be neat to do a haunted house theme. Now if I can just find the time to get it all done. As far as advice on the sleeping thing, I don't have any. Kyleigh is a good sleeper now, naps are short though and Isaac was good at night too. Ryan however was never a good sleeper ans still isn't. I will say once I quit breastfeeding he did do better at night. I think he woke from habbit and the comfort he got from bf.

kimberly - October 8th, 2008 11:29 AM

Where are all my girls at? Hope you all are doing well! Funny my last post a week ago, I said Kyleigh was a good sleeper, well that all changed this week. I haven't had a good nights sleep in 5 days. I am not sure what is going on but I am starting to think maybe she has an ear ache or something. She literally won't sleep unless I am holding her. She wakes up crying if I lay her down at all. Crazy thing is she don't act sick when she is awake playing. No fever, no crakiness, nothing. I am at loss for what is going on so I am taking her into the docs today to see if maybe something is medically wrong. I mean the child went from sleeping great at night like 12 hours straight in her own bed and now in 5 days she won't sleep unless I hold her on my chest. Any thoughts? I had my birthday on Sunday the 5th. I am 31 now..ugh! Have a great day!
