Hey ladies, sorry i haven''t posted in a while. I've been busy with Jacquelyn, work and just life in general. We had a little more drama with Jacquelyn, a few weeks ago she fell while she was in the tub and chiped her front tooth. At the time it looked worse than it was because there was blood all in her mouth, but once she settled down and we cleaned her up we realized the chip was very small. We asked a dentist if we should bring her in and he said for small chips there is not much they can do. So anyway, basically whenever she smiles at me i am reminded of what a bad mommy i am. :( TIFFANY, it's so good to hear from you. Wow, your 37 weeks already, i had Jacquelyn at 37 weeks so it really could be any day now. KIMBERLY, i hope Kyleigh is feeling better and letting you sleep at night again. I'll talk to you ladies later, gotta run.

kim00 - October 21st, 2008 1:55 PM

Tiffany, it's good to hear from you. Glad all is well and good luck with your next delivery. Do you know what your having? Krissy, I'm sorry about Jacquelyn's fall in the tub...but you're not a bad mommy. We find out what we're having on Monday. I'm so excited and can't wait. I'm almost 19 weeks :) Time is flying by. I hope everyone is doing well, and I'll check in soon.

kimberly - October 22nd, 2008 12:34 PM

Hello everyone! Tiffany it is good to hear from you. Our thread is a little slow anymore. I knew you were getting close to the end but wow 37 weeks. I had Ryan and Kyleigh both at 37 weeks so it really could be anytime now. Kyleigh is great, she had a phase for a couple of weeks where she wasn't sleeping, I think it was her teeth because she just got 2 of her jaw teeth in this week but she is back on schedule now. She is a mess and busy busy busy! What will Alex be for Halloween? I posted that Kyleigh would be a ladybug but when I went to buy her costume they were out of her size so she will be a strawberry fairy instead. Isaac settled on the black spiderman and Ryan just got a scary mask and a cape. I am having Ryans birthday party this weekend because Halloween is on Friday and it is hard to do trick or treating and a party on the same day being it is a school day. I decided to do a Tank cake, he loves anything Army. I am so bad though his party is Sat. and I haven't invited everyone yet.lol! I have invited most everyone but I haven't gotten through the whole list yet. I had parent teacher conferences at school yesterday. Ryan has all A's again..yay! Isaac is doing better than I thought he was. He gets alot of bad marks on his folder for behavior but his teacher gave him all +'s on his report card for behavior and she said he isn't behind at all. He isn't ahead either but he is around where the other kids are. Ryan is in the 4th grade and he scored 6th grade level on his Math and 5.6 grade level for his reading, I thought that was great. I need to get him in sports again so I can keep him focused because I really believe his brain will take him places if I can keep him focused on school. Sorry so long...just lots to talk about...hope you all have a great day!

kim00 - October 22nd, 2008 1:31 PM

Kimberly, good luck with the birthday party. I'm glad your boys are doing well in school. I had ptc the other day for Kylee and she's doing well, but she's just a social butterfly and always gets in trouble for talking to her friends. This morning Kenadie FINALLLY took her 1st steps, yay!! So in not too long she'll be running around like a crazy girl :) Hope everyone is doing well.

kim00 - October 27th, 2008 7:13 PM

I found out today we're having another girl!!!

Krissy25 - October 27th, 2008 8:46 PM

Congrats Kim, how exciting 3 girls and they will all be fairly close in age, i'm sure they will have so much fun together.

kimberly - October 29th, 2008 10:06 AM

Hello girls! Kim, wow, 3 girls, you will surely have your handsful once they all become teens. lol! Were you hoping for a boy? Boys are meaner anyway! Ryans birthday party turned out great! My cake looked really awesome, I think it is the best one I have done so far. We got him a new BMX bike and Isaac took it for a ride to his friends house and left it parked behind thier car and well it got ran over and the whole wheel is bent up so now I am on the hunt for a new wheel for his $130 bike. lol! He got it on Sat. and this happened Mon., only 2 days. Figures that I finally go and buy him something nice and it gets destroyed. i got a new kitten the other day and I wish I hadn't. Sounds mean but the stupid thing don't know what a litter box is. I have never had a cat that wouldn't use a box. I don't know what to do, because I will not have a cat going in the house. It is getting cold here and I think he is too little to be outside at night. Ugh!! Have a good one!

friendtilthend - November 5th, 2008 2:55 PM

Hello girls, it has been awhile. I hope you all are doing great. Kimberly I am glad your party went well. I have been checking in once in awhile but I guess it has not been busy here. Anybody post any new pics of their little ones? I am off to check.

kimberly - November 6th, 2008 10:35 AM

Hey Lisa, our thread has all but died! None of us are on very much anymore. I still check in when I am at work because I get so bored. I haven't updated piczo in months, my internet is still off at home. Tiffany, did you have your baby yet??? I seen one post from you saying you were having braxton hicks alot. Hope you all had fun trick or treating, we had a great time!

Krissy25 - November 6th, 2008 11:47 AM

Hey Kimberly, it's a shame that this group has pretty much fallen apart but if you think about it, it was 2 years ago this month that this group was getting pregnant with their august babies and we still exist, just a whole lof smaller, that is still pretty impressive, most groups don't make it this long. Well J is 15 months old today, It's amazing how quickly she catches on to everything. They really are like sponges at this age, i really need to be careful now with the things i say b/c she repeats things back. We are going to try and go on a trip at the begining of December down to Gulf Shores. We're going to wait and book to make sure they are having nice weather down there or else i don't think it is worth it. Anyone else stressed about Christmas. I think i am just going to do all my shopping online, i can't stand crowds, espically if i have J with me. I'm also not looking forward to spending the $$$. We are just now recovering from putting on an addition on our house and now i have to buy things for other people so they can give me things i don't really want or need, bah humbug! Yeah, i'm a grouch when i comes to christmas, but i really feel like it is a holiday that has lost it's true meaning. Speaking of which how are you ladies planning on explaining Santa, or for those with older kids how do you explain it? I was thinking of telling my dd when she is a little older that Santa only brings a few gifts and mom and dad get the rest b/c they love you and know you have been good and deserve them. Does that make sense? I just don''t want her to think that when there are all these gifts under the tree for her that they all came from Santa and that any time we tell her she can't have something b/c it cost too much she thinks she can just wait for christmas b/c santa will bring it. Ok, I'm probably over thinking this now, but i just wanted your opinions on the issue.

Hey ladies, i did a little research and you might be interested to know that the 1st post (at least the first one i could find) for August babies was Nov. 22nd 2006 by a ruinous79, don't know her but there were a few names that suck out like Kelly and Stefkay (although she lost baby, but has since had one) I wasn't even pregnant at that point yet, that's how early it was. Looks like the more official one was started by our very own Tanya on Dec. 16 2006. I know i didn't join until i was closer to 12 weeks.

kimberly - November 12th, 2008 10:28 AM

Hello everyone! Krissy, that is interesting. I have been lurking this site for a long time. In fact I was on here when I was ttc Isaac and then I left for a while and came back when I thought I was pregnant with Kyleigh. I didn't join the August thread until after Kyleigh was born. Tiffany posted on Oct 21st that she was 37 week, I wonder if she had he baby yet?

kelley - November 14th, 2008 5:34 PM

Hey there ladies.... it has been forever, I just have soooo much going on. I have been super duper busy with this crazy little boy. He is running everywhere, climbing everything, and still not sleeping though the night.... I am one worn out mama. I just was cleaning stuff out on my computer and came across this site info again... thought I would pop in and say "hi" and let you all know that we are still alive and kicking here... I will try to be more frequent.... or at least more then once every 3 or 4 months...LOL. Take care ladies!
