My daughter litterally ATE her crib. She is now two years old, still in the crib, and occasionally when I go to get her in the morning or after her nap she has black paint flecks around her mouth, or she is chewing on a hunk of wood. It sucks because we bought her a convertible crib that converts to a toddler bed and then a full size and it is ruined. I tried the teething guards, but none of them fit properly. Then I tried the adhesive gummy ones and she would get the edge in her teeth and rip it off. It is a shame because her crib was so nice and now it is garbage. I am 18 weeks pregnant now and after the baby is born we will have to buy her a new bedroom set and get her in a big girl bed.

YES! My son is 14 months and still puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. I have been taking the kids to the library and he plays and eats every toy he gets his hands on. Lucky for us he had the flu for the past two weeks probably due to this bad habit. He is very active and walking but just can't seem to resist a bite of just about everything. I hope it ends soon!
