Any suggestions? I'm trying to think of what I can do - we'll be traveling for about 7 hours and that's a really long time for her (or anyone)...and she'll be on my lap to boot, oh and by then I'll be about 24 weeks pregnant, so it could get interesting. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Bring lots of books!! haha
We bought a portable DVD player since my daughter didn't like the headphones. We brought a bunch of movies that we knew she would watch. I bought a magnadoodle, stickers, colouring books and LOTS of snacks!! :-) Our flight was about 4 hours. We got up a couple of times and let her walk up and down the aisle, she also slept for about 1 hr each way. Good luck!! Hope that helps

Definitely a DVD player or a laptop that you can play DVD's on. We brought that and all of our Backyardigan DVD's. Also go to walmart or target and buy a couple of small cheap toys. We bought a small magnetic doodle pad, a travel size puzzle, a small magnetic fishing game, stickers, crayons and paper, etc... Dont show them to her until you get on the plane, that way everything will be new. Let her get lots of excercise while you are changing planes during lay overs. Maybe hold her hand and make her walk to the gate, that way maybe she will fall asleep for you. Good luck!

I traveled with our dd when she was 17 months. It was baaaad. I brought tons of toys and books, but she just wanted to run around. The flight attendants were HORRIBLE!!! They would not let her walk up and down the aisle or let us carry her up and down the aisle at all. They also did not let her stand right at our feet near our seat. I just wanted her to stretch her legs, but they said that was not allowed!!! At one point I started crying when one of the flight attendants scolded me about letting my dd crouch on the ground by my feet. The seat belt sign was not on and I didn't see a problem with it. It was such a hard trip. I have a very active daughter. So.... beware the flight attendants. :-)
