I have a 22 month old that is just getting over a cold--runny nose for weeks and chest cold. Starting yesterday he has green mucous in his eyes - every time i get it out, I turn around and he has more! This morning his eyes were crusty a little bit, not bad. What is this - the first thing I think of is pink eye but his eyes are not really red. Anyone know?

If it's what my dd has had 2x then yes, it's a form of pink eye. Their tear ducts get all plugged up from the cold and it can cause the infection. The doc will know right away. Luckily it's easy to treat, just eye drops 2-3 times per day for 4 or 5 days.
