Hey Gloria! I totally know what you mean about the stupid comment box when your not logged in! It makes me angry..lol! MNMOM...Kallie was doing awesome in her toddler bed for the first month and a halfish...I was so relieved...well she just figured out she can get out whenever she wants so...it's back to the drawing board. I had to put up the pack and play in her room now...and she actually asks for it rather than her bed! I wish I had the patience to pull the whole Nanny 911 thing and just keep putting her back in bed over and over so she learns...but I don't. Luckily though she has slept through the night the past 2 nights! Hooray for sleep! Hey Tina, how are you? How did your apt go??

MNMOM - April 17th, 2009 4:09 PM

Jodie- Myles is still fighting the toddler bed. I can't beleive it, going on 3 weeks of this now. He goes to bed OK but wakes up everynight between 2-3 am and the battle is on. Last night it was 2 entire hours. We are sticking with the supernanny strategy and bringing him back to his bed and telling him everyone is asleep and he needs to sleep too. It is insane, I cannot believe how stubborn this kid is! Oh and also, he won't eat pasta - what is up with that? I've never met a kid who won't eat spaghetti or mac and cheese! But he will eat a whole bowl of peas and then ask for more! Can't figure him out!

jodie - April 17th, 2009 4:31 PM

Lol! My son didn't like pasta until he was 3! So about 6 months ago. He only like plain noodles with butter and salt though...he hates any kind of sauce or cheese on it..lol. Kallie loves peas too! And green beans! She is alway like "more beans please" which totally makes my husband gag because he hates them..lol. I figure if Kallie keeps up her sleeping through the night for a bit longer, I may have the energy to try the supernanny method..lol. I just am enjoying getting 8 hrs of sleep at night..haha! So I think I am almost ready to join the preggo band wagon! If I can plan it right it would be cool to have a may/june baby. Nick starts preschool next year and I want to be able to get into the swing of that before adding more chaos to the family..lol!

MNMOM - April 17th, 2009 4:40 PM

Jodie - you are catching the baby fever!!!!! Yayyyyyyy!!! Enjoy your summer and all the margaritas and then get busy in sept/oct and have a may/june baby! Both my boys were born in june it really is the best time to have a baby I think! We would have planned it this way again but little did we know we would not be going back to the fertility clinic this time around - hah! I am still in shock over that one. By the way, Myles LOVES green beans too. Thankfully, everyone at my house likes them so none of us have to gag watching him chow them down :)

TinaSos - April 17th, 2009 10:46 PM

Hi girls. No good news here. At 8weeks just a sac. So having a D and C on Monday. I'm just so numb! I have up and down times. I wish I didnt have to wait till Monday but my doctors office dragged their feet. My doctor wanted me to m/c naturally. I was like are you kidding me. I'm not going to wait and not know when it is going to happen! But anyway, I just hope we can try soon and have another baby!

TinaSos - April 17th, 2009 10:53 PM

I had m/c in April 2005 and now in April again! I just dont understand it! I just hope it will get better soon.

jodie - April 17th, 2009 11:32 PM

Awwe Tina I am sorry to hear that!! I'm sure everything will work out and you will get preggo again soon! I'm sorry you have to wait all weekend for the D and C...I'm sure that's not easy!

jodie - April 17th, 2009 11:35 PM

Hey MNMOM...I deffinately perfer summer babies! My son was November and I felt like it was kind of a rough time! I was a first time mom too so that probably had some to do with the stress but I hated how it got dark so early and we always had to have him all bundled up. I loved having Kallie in July because she could actually wear dresses and little sunsuits. And we could go for evening walks...man reminising really gives me that baby fever! So how far along are you guys again? When do you find out what you are having?

GloriaD - April 18th, 2009 12:13 AM

Tina- I'm so sorry for your loss! I'm sure you'd just like to get it behind you at this point.... hopefully Monday will be here and over and you can begin to heal. When its right it'll happen, I totally believe there's a plan, and even though it sucks and doesn't make any sense yet, one day it will. Maybe try soon and just be leary of April in the future:)
MNMOM and Jodie- I agree with you guys about spring/summer babies. My first child Jake was born in May and it was awesome because we spent the first few months wearing creepers and laying on blankets in grass, not running from the flu and hibernating in the house. My other kids were October, September and now November. I'm sensing a trend here..... MNMOM- have your days remained good? Are you finally beginning to enjoy your pregnancy? I'm not, it seems that I have night sickness now. I'm good until about dinner time and then its a downhill slide to bedtime. Thankfully I'll load up on unisom and then its a blur!!!!! 9 weeks down, about a million to go! Jodie- I just spent the evening with a friend's two month old son and it was so nice:) He was cute and cuddly and he didn't talk back or scream! I'm thinking it won't be too bad now. Join the club honey!!!!!!! I don't even go to the dr. until May 12th, so I think I'll find out the sex about mid-June. Maybe when I do finally go to the dr. it'll feel real, right now it doesn't.........

MNMOM - April 18th, 2009 10:05 AM

Tina-wow so sorry to hear about your pg loss. I cannot imagine. You are a strong woman, you will have another healthy baby one day!
Jodie-I am nearly 13 weeks. We are not going to find out the gender this time - might kill me! ha! But that is how I really want it this time.
Gloria-I have felt great since 12w2d. Hang in there, you will be out of the woods with the crapiness soon!

GloriaD - April 27th, 2009 12:45 AM

Aloha!!!! I'm back:) I don't know why I sound so upbeat, I'm still sick as all getout and then I got a killer sunburn to boot! Maui was nice, it broke things up a bit for me. I'm hoping to feel better anytime..... I'm at 10w2d right now. Has anyone ever gotten burned so bad that you swelled up? My right ankle is sooo swollen still. Just one ankle is, but also my right calf/ankle is what got burned the worse.... Anywho, I hope everyone had a good week:)

MNMOM - April 27th, 2009 8:25 AM

Gloria-welcome back! I was thinking about you and wondering if you had a good time(figured you would!) and if you were starting to feel any better. Well I had 2 good no great days, 12w2d and 12w3d but it has not been so great since then :( Maybe I am having a girl this time, my mom had 3 kids, I was the only girl, and she said that I was the only one that made her miserable the ENTIRE pregnancy. Well, I have 2 boys already, and neither of them made me feel lousy still at this point! Anyway. I am 14 weeks and this is the stage I always worry so much that something has gone wrong with developement but that I wouldn't even know it, it is still a few weeks until my next appt and I can't feel the baby move yet, so I am going on faith that the little bean is still ticking away and growing all on track. I know it is senseless to worry and I have no real "reason" to, and yet I still can't help it. Hope your sunburn is better!!

GloriaD - April 28th, 2009 3:53 PM

Hello MNMOM!!!! Yes, being m/s in Maui is much better than being at home:) Still sick, but a tropical backdrop and no poopy diapers to clean. I'm sorry to hear that you're still not feeling well. I am right there with ya, feeling like crap most of my days. I don't have a lot to say these days and dh is constantly worried about me, but what do ya say? I have one boy and two girls and I totally agree regarding morning sickness with girls. I had it worse and for longer with the girls, which makes me panic at the thought of this being another little girl. I really don't have a preference as long as baby is healthy, but really, 3 girls?????? That doesn't seem fair to my son:) I just cancelled my hair appt this afternoon in favor of a long nap to cure today's nausea/stomach ache. Its a rough one today. I don't go to the dr. for another two weeks and now I'm starting to think that maybe going in and actually seeing the little bean would make my attitude adjust for the better...... I hope you're enjoying your Tuesday. Rates dropped to 4.5% today so I've been busy with work this morning:))))

MNMOM - April 28th, 2009 4:05 PM

Gloria: Are you a mortgage broker?? I know what you mean about wanting to see the little bean for a lift in spirits, I don't go back in until May 12th and at that time it will be 5 weeks since I was in to see anyone, that is a long time to worry! Try taking more vitamin b6...I am taking 100 mg twice a day, it is safe and taking more helps a little. Well you gave me hope that I could possibly get a girl this time!!! That would be a dream as I never have believed it would be possible for me to have a girl. As for you having another girl, I'd say wait until you are past 12 weeks and then see how you are feeling, if you are feeling better then maybe you are having a boy! I think that would be cool if you had another boy, just for the sake of having even numbers of each! :) By the way, I could NEVER cancel a hair appt! I am dying for one right now, and I have to wait until May 11th!!! I hate my hair it is making me so grumpy :(

jodie - April 28th, 2009 5:03 PM

Hey ladies! Hey MNMOM...I had zero morning sickness or nausea when I was pregnant with Nick but was had deffinate nausea with Kallie! I never puked or anything but I was waaay more queezy with her!!

MNMOM - April 29th, 2009 9:14 AM

Jodie - hey, thanks for the post, see, now I have heard this from several sources!!!! Maybe there is hope for a girl afterall????
