MOMTBC- Jo eats EVERYTHING outside too. I always have to keep such a good eye on her but I can understand how that's hard for you since... you know.... you have 3 OTHER kids to watch out for! haha So I can't believe we're on the toddler forum, AHHH! |

Aww..I'm happy and sad to be here. Thinking back now - I am soooo glad to be out of that newborn stage. The first 4 months were HAAARRD!! But these new challenges take a lot out of me too! Kaitlyn will only take a few steps but is getting better about standing alone. I don't think it will be long now. She is still having a horrible time with teething, crying almost constantly and horrible every time she wakes up from a nap. Wait till you see what we got her for her bday - its a kitchen playset which is soooo fun! It has "fake" tiled walls and its really modern looking. And of course we had to get her all the "play" food!!!! I have never really been to Toys R Us before (only babies r us) so it was like a whole new world for me going in there. I'm looking at the rows and rows of girly toys and thinking of everything thats to come!! Its all so cute!!!!! |

Yah... I can't believe it either. Jenna ate a small pebble the other day. My husband was yelling for me.. She was fine but she was coughing and it scared both of us. Like momtbc said.. you keep an eye on them and know that this stage will end too!! Thank goodness Jackson really does a great job of keeping himself occupied and Jenna and I can participate in what ever game he is playing at that time.. but I have to keep such a good eye on her.. This weekend she was in bumpa's garden with me and was eating the dirt.. Yum! momtbc.. .has Chris got the flu?? I pray he doesn't! |

Oh my! Toddlers?! That even sounds weird calling them that. GURINSA - Glad you found out who the mystery person was, I would be freaked too, haha! Alexea has been holding onto our hands and walking a good distance now, she would just sit down and refuse before. So at least we're making progress. She has always been obsessed with saying dada and getting his attention and hardly ever saying mama. The last two days its only been mama nonstop! Oh so sweet. Posted new belly pix up on the website if you all would like to see. Its been something hot here. 113 the day before yesterday and averaging 105 for a while now, ugh. Can't even play in her little pool too long. Shes so into purses lately I gave her one and she has two others and she put them on her shoulder and wave bye bye and put toys in them, shes playing with her purse now and holding a football inte other arm, haha. |

Aww man....Our little ones are not so little anymore. We had such a busy weekend. We DH 20 year reunion and they had something Thursday, Friday and Saturday and then yestrerday we had 3 couples come and look at our house so needless tosay I am bushed...~~Pebbs, they checked my blood sugar and said it was in the normal range but I am thinking I might be hypoglycemic....this always seems to happen when I am hungry. They checked my sugar at 4PM and it was 82....I had just ate some animal crackers before I went in the office so it is on the very low scale of normal. I have a meter at home and I think I am going to start checking it...in the mean time I am just making sure I have snacks with me. Speaking of eating...Brooke loves dog food, she must because I can not keep her out of the dog bowl ( I do ) but if I turn my back for a second that is where she is headed...has eaten a couple pieces too. I swear she puts everything in her mouth~~Question, is anyone having trouble with there little ones throwing food? Brooke will take her hands and wipe back and forth her tray knocking the food to the floor...I have had to start feeding her again...stuff that she normally picks up and eats...she just wants to play. |

IMP - You can only imagine what it's like to watch the other three like a hawk and then turn around and see Samantha with flower petals hanging out of her mouth! She will be fine soon and hopefully walking and exploring like Jo! She will stand for ever and bend over and pick things up. She can even lean alllll the way over to put her head on the ground and get back up. She definitely has the balance down, just no confidence yet. PEBBLES - Chris doesn't have the flu yet! Hopefully he won't. He would be the last one. GURNISA - I love to look at everything at ToysRUs. Barbie's are my favorite! I love the play kitchens, you guys are going to have so much fun. That is one toy that will be here forever. They all 4 can play together and everyone can be doing something different - just like little people toys. Glad to hear you found out who your mystery commenter was. BRITT - Hope you guys are doing good and hope you got enough rest! |

GURINSA- Yeah I IMed her haha she had an away message up but I was like whatever I'll just ask who she is and I was leaving the house at the time too so I just saw her message now when I got back. I thought she was from California because it said "cali" at the end of her screen name. All I said was "Hi... who is this? You left a comment on my friend's blog and it scared her a little. We were just wondering how you knew the baby on her blog?" When did she stop watching Kaitlyn? And how did she find your blog? Did you give it to her before? She said she was going to let you know and I wasn't going to say anything about IMing her because I didn't want you to think I was crazy for snooping so much. But it creeped me out too and I was like who the hell is this weirdo hahaha Sooo girls, GUESS WHAT. I think I have a climber on my hands. If you reas my blog you know that Jo can climb up the stairs and really well and FAST well guess what... we got her this little entertainment table... it's just a table that comes up a little above her waist and has a bunch of stuff to do on top well... I walked in the room and Jo was ON TOP of it! And ever since then she's constantly trying to climb on top of it. MOMTBC- Glad Chris isn't sick yet!!! |

JENDEAN - Samantha does that with her food as well. Only Blake and Samantha have done that. It has gotten to the point now where I give Samantha her own fork, even if I have to put the food on it for her,but she won't throw her food if I do it that way! |
JENDEAN- Somehow I missed your post. Jo doesn't mess around when it comes to eating haha because she gobbles up ANYTHING I put in front of her. But she does start dropping it on the floor once she's full and doesn't want to eat anymore. That's how I know she's done. She doesn't really throw it but she picks it up and will just drop it on the floor. She's like... get this out from in front of me I'm done! haha |

Oh yeah - Kaitlyn will swipe things far across the room from her high chair. She is losing interest in eating food and wants to drink way more milk??!! The only way I can feed her is if its yogurt - otherwise she'll throw a fit cause she wants to feed herself. |

Food.. yep. Jenna is our little puppy feeder. They swarm her chair when it is meal times. She eats good until she is done then she does what Jendeen said.. swipes her hands across the top and pushes all her food all over. She will also say.. all done. Imp.. climber... watch out!! Jackson was never a climber but our friends little boy is. Always on top of their island in their kitchen. They think it is funny but he has fallen a few times... not funny. Jenna.. she does stairs going up really well.. but not down. Jendeen.. sounds like you may be hypoglycemic... I know I have that. Always have granola bars, rice cakes or even those blood glucose wafers with me. Helps me if I need a little boost. A sip or two of coke really gives you a quick jolt. But if I eat something small every three hours I do much better. I am also intolerant to wheat.. something I didn't know when I used to eat a TON of products with wheat and flour in them... That was a BIG part of my problem. IMP.. you should be an investigator.. sounds like you guys got down to the bottom of the mystery poster!! Glad it turned out ok. AUGUST 1st... wanna know what is happening that date???? As of 5pm on August 1st I will officially be DONE WITH MY FULL TIME JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep... Barrys tests came back ok and we have applied for health insurance outside of my work. That was the biggest concern for us. Did our budget last night.. we are going to be broke but can do it!!! Creative budgeting right!!!! Now I am starting to plan our "daily schedule" and fun and cheap activities for us! |

PEBBLES - yeah for you! I am so happy for you! August 1st is also Blake's birthday - so a good day all around! haha! You will have soooo much fun. Budgeting is important now with the price of gas. I think Taylor is just being effected by the "not being able to do it's". We just can't pack up and drive here and there now. So, I try to do all the shopping in one day. I try to do multiple stops if we have to go out. She justs wants to go here, there and everywhere. So, that is why she is so bored right now. Vacation is coming, so that will perk her up. Actually, we're getting ready to go shopping to get things to take on vacation - Connor needs a backpack, we need floaties, and busy stuff for the plane. This should be fun! |

MOMTBC- Going on vacation will definitely help Taylor's boredom. We do all our shopping in one day too, every Sunday we go to Target and the grocery store which are right next to each other and connected! Usually there isn't anywhere else I need to go to get something so when it comes to shopping we just go to that one place and get everything done. Okay, I know this is a personal question, kind of, and I know we all have different size families and different incomes but I was wondering how much everyone puts in their budget for grocery shopping every week? Me and Rob don't necessarily have a budget which doesnt mean we go crazy spending, not AT ALL but we're just lucky in the fact that we don't have many expenses at the moment. So even though we don't have a budget I can't help but to feel like I'm spending TOO much grocery shopping. PEBBLES- August 1st! YAAAAY! That'll be so much fun! I'm so happy for you =) MOMTBC- When are you going on your vaca? That's so exciting! We're going on a little trip I think maybe late July or early August. It's a cute little city called Mystic, it's in Connecticut and they also have a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge, crazy cool aquarium. It's only like 1 1/2 or 2 hours away but I'm excited none the less! Not even sure how long we're going to go for or anything, I was going to start looking at hotels tonight. I despertely want a hotel with a pool so I can bring Jo in with me! |
