My husbands family has a history of low enamel in their teeth. As a result, most of them have capped their teeth to protect and strengthen. A few of my two year olds teeth are yellowish. He has been to the dentist several times. The dentist thinks that eventually he will also have to cap his teeth but wants to wait as long as possible since they can chip easily and have to be put under to do the procedure. Has anyone gone through this with their LO?

I haven't been through this yet but my dh has a enamel problem with his teeth and so does lots of his family. I have noticed my 5 year olds teeth are not very white and I just made a appointment for him because I am concerned. He also has some funny shaped teeth on the bottom. It looks like he is missing two teeth but he isn't his two teeth that are next to his middle bottom teeth are pushed off to the side and almost connected together. In fact they look like they are connected together, like two teeth grew into one. I think he is going to have a mouth full of problems. I hope your little boy don't.
