Hi Cae, Bridget is doing great. I finally had her in for her 18 month appointment (a month late!!). She is growing like a weed. She is still int he 95% for height and weight (34.5 inches and 29 pounds!). She is very proportionate. While she still is a big mama's girl, she is getting pretty independent. Things like you mentioned like unsing the spoon or fork on their own is big with her. She also will go and explore outside and could care less if I follow her! Of course I do though! She is talking up a storm. I can't even count how many words she knows and says. I must give most of the credit to Sesame Street!!!! I do put it on for her way to much! She is on the verge of being a couch potatoe if I am not careful!! I tell you, it is so much fun having a kid this age. Everyday is a new adventure. I really don't find myself getting frustrated with her. I am sure that will come in time as she is saying "NO" a lot! How is Ethan doing? How are you doing? Do you ever go over to cafemom? Do you still talk to Bonnie? I go on cafemom much more than this site, but I don't post much at all. I don't think I have seen Bonnie on either of these sites. I always wonder how Mason is doing. Even my mom asked how he was doing!! I always tell my mom about interesting posts that I see on here and of course when Bridget was a newborn I was on here a lot more. I use to tell my mom about how everyones baby was doing. I remember telling my mom about all the reflux issues Mason had. Apparently based on my moms interest, she should have been a forum member too!!! Well, I am going to sign out for the night. I have a wedding to go to tomorrow (Saturday) but I will check back on Sunday or Monday. If you want to, send me an email at fozzysparky7 AT yahoo DOT com Hope to hear from you soon!!!! -Jessica

Hi jb. Like you said, isnt it so much fun at this age! They are very unpredictable. Ethan has been getting into EVERYTHING and its fun to watch him even when hes doing something hes not suppose to be doing, to see what his next move is. He such a boy. He loves his firetrucks, cars, anything with wheels. So cute to watch him push his trucks as he mocks the sounds of them. One thing he still does that is annoying is that he peels off most stickers from his toys, and puts them in his mouth. Does Bridget do that at all? I cant even tell you how many stickers he has eaten in his little life time. So, yes, most of his car and truck toys with a face, dont have one now.lol It hard to go grocery shopping because hes always trying to turn around to get to the items in the cart so that he can peel the price tag off. He will work really, really hard to get every bit of the sticker off. Cute and annoying at the same time. Hey, atleast it keeps him quiet..lol That is good that Bridget is saying alot of words. At this point Ethan is saying about 5 words, but he babbles ALOT. Its funny because its like he really is having a coversation with us when he babbles, telling us alot of stories with his face full of expressions. He's just a happy little kid. Oh, and he can throw some whoppin fits now! He throws himself to the floor pretty hard trying to get our attention, as I just walk right over him like I dont see him...lol Its amazing when he thinks we didnt see, he is back on his feet quickly and over his tantrum, usually works everytime. Ethan just had his 18month check up also, a month late..lol I guess it wasnt really that big of a deal, since he was not due for any immunizations anyways. Anyhow he too, is still at a healthy weight and height. He also weighs 29lbs and is 36inches tall! He became a very, very picky eater for about 2 months straight, I was worried his weight was going to drop, but still a nice juicy baby..lol..no, actually because he is tall, he does look thinner than most of peers his age. No, I have not been on cafemom. I dont have much time. I also belong to a nursing forum, so I split my time between there and here. On top of that, too busy with the LO and with landscaping and slideshow projects Ive got going on. I have not heard from Bonnie in a while. Im sure she too, is busy with her little man and her photography. That is so funny. It sounds like your mom is a member. lol Is Bridget a good sleeper? When if you havent already will you start potty training? Ethan is no where near ready yet. Plus, I hear boys usually potty train later than girls, no sure if thats true or not. I cant imagine Ethan wearing little undies...lol
