Pull-ups aren't the best to use if she isn't atleast potty training. If she isn't going on the potty I would switch back to diapers. If her poo is runny and that is why she is having so much, then I would dry and pinpoint what may be giving her loose stool and eliminate or atleast cut down on that food. For example, if she is eating a ton of fruit, or if she has had greasy foods, or too much whole milk. 22months could be a bit to early for potty training. There is a book out called "Potty Train In A Day", by Teri Crane. It will help you to determine if she is even ready to be potty traine and then if she is it gives very detailed instruction on how to do so. You make it a party and it is actually fun for the child and non stress on everyone. I hope this helps, good luck to you. |

I don't understand a couple of things. Is she a big girl, and that was the reason to get size 3-4T? Or was the size increased to just to hold poop? (Some kids are larger, my son outgrew the last diaper size by 20 months, I had to resort to 3-4T pull-ups until we started potty training). And secondly, why use pull-ups at all if you are potty training? |

I am not planning to potty train my daughter til after he first bday. I have heard tht although you can start training as low as 18 months, the doctors say that a kid is better doing it between 2 ans 2 1/2. So I will try after she's 2 and if she doesnt want it, I will wait a bit longer. |

hi marie8.. i have a 23 months old dd and now she has been toilet trained for 2 weeks, day n night... i saw that she's ready though.. she hated to be wet n would actually tell me when she wanted to poop.. so i tried, ofcourse ive been trying b4 but i want patient enough n i kept quitting... u might want to see what food is making ur dd's stools loose.. then it could be easier for both of u to try :) GL |
