Hi Ladies, I know its not nice but i am going to admit, i somtimes feel like just walking out on my duty!! I am a stay at home mum with a 2 1/2 year old and one on the way, no matter what i do for DS i feel i am wasting my time. Today i tryed to put a gazebo so i could put his sand pit under it, i had to fix it 3 times from him pulling it down so i gave up and put it away. I clean his room about 3 times aweek 5 minutes later its trashed. He askes me to fix a toy that needs to be assembled by an adult 5 minutes later hes asking me to fix it again. What makes matters worse is that i have made down stairs into a play room for him, now its not a play room as all the toys that i put down there are gone as they have been ruined by the bl**dy dog as he always lets her in. I mean these toys were tents, ball pits, i have had to put all the balls away as he gave half to the dog. Dh wounders why he comes home to an cranky wife, i mean no matter what a mum/wife does its all taken for granted. Thanks for letting me vent.

Hon don't feel bad! We are all entitled to feel that way every now and then!

I know what you mean. Sometimes I have to take a step back and then I realize that trying to finish putting together dd's scrapbook while she's awake just isn't going to work. Then today I was trying to fold and put away dd's clothes and I look over and she's emptied out her drresser drawer. It took me 3 times as long as it should. Sometimes there's only so much you can do.

are you doing things for yourself like working out? I just joined jazzercise and a book club. Those outings really make me a more patient etc. mom. Make sure you have you time!!! If you just do the same thing everyday, you will go crazy!!

i think we sometimes just expect too much, my older dd is 2 1/2 and my younger dd is 4 months. I now realize how easy a newborn is! My dd is a great kid, but sometimes it can get frustrating and I get mad at her for stupid things, like she'll ask me for juice as she takes the cup she'll say "carefully with two hands" but when she's drunk enough she'll stick her hands in it and start wiping it all over her face/hair/the floor etc. Sometimes I just have to take time out and remind myself that she is only 2 1/2 and will sometimes be "naughty" but it's more testing curiosity and bounderies than being naughty. It's hard especially when dh just doesn't get the frustration!

Don't feel bad kristie h! I used to feel like I'm the worst mom in the world whenever I would admit that I needed help or a break. The truth is we are all humans and have only so much energy to do everything we do. Don't worry and you can vent any time you want :-)
