Learn from my experience!!!! Keep a few around for sleeping in. Otherwise, you could have a huge mess once he figures out how to take off his diapers. ~signed "I know from bad experience" |

Jadon (14 months) is still in onsies... I love them because he can just wear that when it's hot... Not sure about all stores, but the BX here sells them up to 24 month size. I plan on using them for a while longer... |

Caitlin still wears onesies. Most of her summer shirts are onesies. I like they way they look, neat & tidy tucked in, and I also think her pants / skirts fit nicer with a onesie on. The Children's Place has onesies in size 2T and 3T, I saw some yesterday when I was there. I also plan on keeping Cate in onesies as long as possible too, especially in the winter. |

so I"m going to take it that a onesie is an undershirt with the bottom snaps? I love those!! Dustin will be wearing those until I can't get them in his size anymore!! |

Onesies are like the best piece of outfit ever invented for a child!!! LOL. My son is 3 and we still put the onesis on him... Specially at bed time. It use to be a ritual where he had to have one on and did have one on till he turned 2 then it became more of a comfort thing!!!!!! |

my girl is 19 months old and STILL wears onsies! but she's a small fry lol so it's not that hard to find ones that fit her. they're good too because i'll bet if she didn't wear them she'd be stripping down and running around without her diaper on lol |

Looks like I'm the odd man out. I stopped dressing my son in onesies at about 9 months. He was wiggling so much on the changing table that it was impossible to snap them. At about this same time I took him to the doctor and there was a really big child (one of those kids that probably looks older than they actually are) walking around in a too small onesie. My son is 50% for height and weight but he looks older than his age. I decided at that time that I couldn't let my son walk in public in only a onesie . When its really hot I let him walk around the house in just his diaper but when we are in public I prefer to pull shorts on him. I see kids his age in onesies all the time and they look cute but my 14 month old son doesn't look like a baby anymore so people would give me odd looks. |

That's funny Lchan! LOL! Carlie sleeps in onesies and plays at home in them. But if we go out 99% of the time I dress her fully. LOL! Mainly because she's so darn cute and I want to show her off. :O} rl, I love those little jumper outfits. I don't know what they're called technically, but they sure are cute! :O} |

As previously mentioned, kellen wears hers to bed most of the time. Outside of that, she is never out in public without pants, skirt, or shorts. Though she is so adorable that she could 'pull-off' wearing just a onsie (If I do say so myself!) Like CyndiG, there are way too many cute outfits in that closet to waste time with a straight onsie - thanks to grandma's and friends who give us hand-me-downs! |

I too, love onesies! I kept my son in them until he was about 16 months, when the weather started to warm up. He is almost 18 months, but I still use them at nighttime, since his room seems a little cool at night. I say, do whatever works for you! I am tired of people "telling" or suggesting how I should raise my son. I've found that often my own instincts are the best. |

My lttle one is 12 months and is already in 24 m onesies! Pretty soon she has no choice but to not wear them. If I had a choice, I would love to use onesies til potty training comes into play. I found lots of affortable 2t onsies on Ebay. The bigger onesies are so hard to find in stores. Good Luck. Erica |

my son is 17 months old, and he still wears the gerber onesies (thin like undershirts) to sleep in. of course he has some "t-shirt onesies" but they're thicker (like a shirt) but he always has shorts on over them. I always keep a pack of white gerber onesies on hand to wear under his button up shirts for dressing up occasions. I guess I'll use them till we start potty training |

I left my daughter in onsies during the summer months as long as she could wear them. When she got too big to find sizes that fit her, that was the end of them. They are a lot cooler during the summer. |

Adding to this... only JUST a onesie when we were at home... when we were in public, i'd put some shorts or a skirt on her. Although a lot of the time she wore just little sundresses. Still does for summer. (she just turned 3... so they are easier for potty time too...) she doesn't have to struggle w/ getting shorts unfastened... and I may be one of those odd moms, but I HATE how shorts and pants w/ stretchy elastic waist bands look on kids. I think they look just... well forgive me, but cheap. We have a few pairs of them, but they are strictly for playing outside. She can get as dirty as she would like in them. My daughter is so prissy though... I'd just rather see her dolled up... frankly she'd rather be in a dress too. |
