My 12 month old daughter has been waking up recently crying at night (bedtime 8:00). This seems to be the pattern for the past couple of days. The first time (around 9:30 pm) , I can get her back asleep by rocking her. Then the 2nd time (12:00 am) and third time (4:00 am) she is acting like she is thirsty for milk. I have taken her to the Dr. no ear infections, I have given her gas drops , tried to watch what she eats at night. Coudl it be a growth spurt ? Any thoughts ?

It sounds to me like she is either teething or is going through a growth spurt. My daughter does the same thing when she is teething. She just wants to be held during those times. It could defintely be a growth spurt too though. I'm sure it will pass. Hang in there ;)

cmweze,my ds is 12 months has been doing the exact same thing for about the last 2 weeks.he used to be such a good sleeper..i think his is teething as hes so dribbly at the moment..
rj22 answer is what i think as well..can you feel any hardness on the gums where they might be coming through.it is hard esp in the middle of the night..at least you know no ear infections..
