My 18 Month Old Has Croup Again

Any suggestions on how to make him more comfortable? He had it when he was 3 months. He has not slept for 3 nights. He went to the doc today and they gave him a steriod shot to help him breath better. I am so tired and my hubby just took 2 extra days at work so I am doing this on my own.

My ds had croup once, and I fully understand how terrorizing it is. It lasted less though, you must have been going through heck for 3 nights. Do doctors say what can be done at home?
