hey girls! I asked this on infant forum too, it doesnt seem like hardly anyone posts here anymore! Anyways I was wondering What do you do when your baby's pool gets all slimy? I empty the water everyday but it still fells really yucky and doesnt even seem sanitary to let her swim in there. Its a pain because it is a blow up pool so its not real easy to clean. Any suggestions?

maybe put some bleach in it and let it soak a bit...or you could add the bleach when your lo is done playing with it and leave it until the next time then just empty the water out and rinse it good and re-fill it

Can you wash it with a sponge and antibacterial soap? Or how about Nolvasan (chlorahexadine)? My first thought was bleach like RL suggested but that might eat through the plastic.

I don't know if there would be too much residue (i.e. BUBBLES) from washing it with Dawn detergent...but Dawn has a detergent with bleach now...I use this to wash bottles and such....it doesn't bubble as much as original Dawn.
