has anyone seen previews for this new show NBC is doing? I kind of have mixed feelings about it - the give teens children for three days at a time to get a taste of what parenting is really like in hopes of disuading them from having children too early (or at least be better prepared I guess). but what about the families that participated? Would you have allowed your child to be part of the experiment?

I would never agree to this experiement with my kids. I would be too afraid that they would be neglected, diapers not changed when they should be, not enough fluids throughout the day, what would the meal schedule be like. Not to mention the fear the kids would have being with strangers they don't know. I do know that throughout the taping the parents are watching and they can back out at any time if they feel their kids are in danger, or just can't take it anymore. Even though I wouldn't subject my kids to this, I will definitely watch the show.

they said they had nannies on set and in the house 24/7 as well as emergency medical people on set at all times. I don't know that I would have agreed to let my child do this, but i heard there was constant supervision.

I wouldn't let them have my baby to do this but I am sure they are supervised at all times. I doubt they are seriously left alone with them. I am going to watch it...I think it will be interesting to see how these kids handle it.

What channel is it on?

It's on NBC

In case anyone didn't watch, the parents are watching the teens every move from a different house and they can step in whenever they feel necessary. Also, there are professional nannies who shadow the teens and follow them everywhere but they can't step in and give advice or anything they're just there for the babies immediate safety and what not so they would step in if the baby was in danger.
