6.5 Wks One Twin Missing??

I was 6.5 weeks my last ultrasound and the doctor saw 2 sacs but only one baby, which he said looked great. But he couldn't see a baby in the other sac and I;m going back in two weeks to see if he can see anything!!??
Has anyone ever had this happen

I had two sacs at 8 weeks and one never formed into a baby. I am due with one healthy girl next week. My doctor told me it is not uncommon for this to happen and your body simply reabsorbs the unformed sac.

Is it more common for ur body to reabsorb the sac or to have it come out?? My doctor said that I am at a higher risk of miscarriage if it comes out..
