6 Weeks U/s 2 Sacs One Heartbeat .

Hi All,

I finally went for my first ultrasound monday and the doctor saw two sacs when she was zoomed out but when she zoomed in she only found one sac with a baby. She couldnt find the second sac. Could my other baby be there? I go back in 2 weeks for a follow up but i wanted to know if is is possible to have missed baby #2. All your responses are appreciated.

What happened? Were there really two babies? I have two sacs, 1 heartbeat..... trying to keep myself sane until the next ultra sound!

i have 3 sacs but the largest was only measuring 6 weeks so we could not yet see a heartbeat. the smaller two were measuring 5 weeks and we could not see a baby. I'm waiting to get my blood test back. the hormone level will tell how many babies are inside! then I don't have to wait for the u/s.
