got scan done at 12 weeks has come up as a love heart shape looks like two sacs but can only see one baby has anyone any ideas please thank you

I had an u/s done at 6 weeks showing 3 sacs, however only 1 baby in one of them. Is this common? i am supposed to go back in 2 weeks for another ultra sound, however im still so confused. Could this develop into something more? or are they just empty? At 6 weeks my blood tests are normal, not high, and i am experiencing pretty bad nausea and exhaustion this early on...any advice?
