Hi! I just found out I am pregnant today and my beta level is at 834. My dr seemed kind of suprised... Does anyone know what their beta levels were when they 1st found out they were pregnant and then found out it was twins? Thanks!

Hi Ashley! I can only help from the point of exactly 5 weeks along with my first set of twins. My level was 117,thousand-something...it's been too long ago, lol! That day they did u/s and STAT beta hcg-quant. I could not believe how high it was. Now, with my second set, I went in around 12-14DPO and my level was 41....7 days later, it was over 5,000,etc. However, they were not developing properly as the placentas were immature. So I don't know if you'd like to count my levels with them, but just in case :)

HTH :)

BUMPING this for others :)

SoReady - March 27th, 2009 7:27 AM

LindaS - I am new to these forums. What does BUMPING mean?

LindaS - March 27th, 2009 12:23 PM

Hi SoReady~ It means I am posting to move it back to the top of the list so it will be seen. Hopefully others will post their personal numbers as well. It helps to know from a personal standpoint what is/can be normal for others....just giving the opportunity to others to join in :)

Ashley2121 - March 27th, 2009 1:43 PM

Thanks for doing that Linda - I was hoping for more answers! :)

LindaS - March 27th, 2009 1:58 PM

No problem Ashley :) *hugs*

I remember with my first twin pregnancy I posted on another site and was so interested to see where I stood from personal numbers of other multiple moms. It is always nice to compare, even though we all know there's a HUGE gap and overlapping of numbers....it's comforting to know that other moms have numbers close to yours :)

Hugs and healthy pregnancies to all!

Linda - Have you tested again yet? I know you said you got a BFP on 7dpo.....I am keeping my fingers crossed for you :)

LindaS - March 27th, 2009 10:56 PM

Hi Ashley :) Yes, I tested a couple times each day cause I'm a POAS addict, lol! I got an Answer Early Response as well(actually DH bought two boxes with two in each of them :) ) today. I used one earlier and it's positive as well. All have been positive, so I'm staying positive that I will get sticky beans this time *Dear God please allow me to have a healthy pregnancy and healthy babies*

Thank you for checking on me Ashley, I do appreciate your kindness very much :)

STICKY baby beans to us all!

Ashley2121 - March 28th, 2009 7:45 AM

Linda - Thats so great!! When will you go to your drs to get the "official" BFP? Say that little prayer for us all :)

Ashley2121 - March 28th, 2009 10:02 AM

WOW WOW!! My dr just called me this morning with my beta results from my bloodwork yesterday and they are at 3284!!! They were only 834 on Tuesday! This seems like a HUGE jump - what do you ladies think?

Baby dust to all!! :)

LindaS - March 28th, 2009 11:14 AM

AWESOME news Ashley!!! Yes, I'd say that's a HUGE jump in 48 hours(or so)!!!! How exciting!!!

I already called in to get the lab papers to go for my blood work. I'll get them(in the next town over)on Monday or Tuesday....they will take 2 days to get results faxed after I've had my draw....so, I'd say if I go Monday, I'll have results on Wednesday...if I go Tuesday, I'll have results on Thursday. Either way, it'll be this coming week some time for my HCG beta quant and progesterone levels.

PLEASE keep STICKY babies on your mind and in your heart for all of us :)

SoReady - March 28th, 2009 1:24 PM

Ashley - did you O' regularly before clomid? It sounds like you could have twins! That would be awsome!

Congrats Ladies!

Ashley2121 - March 28th, 2009 5:06 PM

SoReady - I always had a normal period that worked like clock work but I would take OPKs and they never worked so no I dont think I Od normally. Plus I never got pregnant so probably not.....
