Jaime - I havent' tested again my breast are sore & huge & I keep having spotting a bit only? Do you think its possible that I will need provera to actually start my period b/c of the clomid? Its like it wants to start but can't? Not feeling I am pg ...too discouraged by the spotting that is there. Nothing yesturday thou but, today brown with tinge of red. I guess I will call the ob.

I know clomid can cause you to ovulate late and therefor start late. Has anyone started early while on clomid. I am getting ready to start my third month of clomid and this time my doctor is taking me up to 100mg. The first month I started one day early. This month was two days early. I used a opk this time and ovulated on day 14. I don't understand why I would start early. Even before clomid I was every 28 -29 days. Any ideas would be welcomed. Thanks.

I am in the same situation. I O on my own - very regular 29 days. Last month was my first round of clomid. I must have O'd very late because I was 5 days late (cd33). The OPK's I used didn't register anything. I was freaking out because I though "Oh my goodness, I didnt O at all" but my af finally came. I bought a digital OPK - and will monitor from day 5 forward.

Don't use an OPK until a few days after you stop taking clomid, because it will give you a false positive. It happened to me, and so I looked it up, and yep...false positives on Clomid if you do them too soon after taking clomid. Just FYI....

I started testing with the OPK on cd10. My first AF w/clomid was 27 days. My second AF w/clomid was 26 days. The opk read my surge on cd 14 and 15. Before comid I was every 28-29 days. Any answers or theories would be welcome as to why I am starting early. Thanks

Well ladies its official she showed her face this a.m at 6:00 (AF). So I'm going to be restarting clomid 100mg this mth any suggestions on cd's 2-6 or 3-7? hope everyone is well.

Lauren, I started 100mg last night on day three. I have been headachy all day and just plain tired. 50mg hardly bothered me. Maybe taking them 2-6 will have less symptoms. Good luck and Baby Dust!

hey Lauren - I miscarried last week, and am healing quickly...thank goodness. I read that Clomid can thin your uterine lining, and am wondering if that happened with me. I'm not sure if I'll just try the natural approach this time, just because it seems like my body didn't like the clomid. I didn't have any symtoms from it, but, I couldn't keep the pregnancy, which was a first for me. So, I'm trying to decide what to do. I want twins BAD, but not enough to risk losing another pregnancy. We'll see.

I ordered fertomid (clomid) from india and it arrived about 30 days after i ordered it. (2 weeks late i was worried!) I was pg back in April with YES TWINS! I lost baby A on June 1 and baby B on June 28th.
*Sigh* I am still very bitter and sad but I am going to begin again on fertomid and this is my first day of taking it. My advice is to try taking robitussin to help with the hostile mucus or Pre-seed works really well too. I used both so I cant tell you which was the best to use. I have 2 children already, my youngest one was also a twin concieved on clomid two years ago. We lost baby B at the end at 11 weeks but my youngest daughter is a happy healthy girlie girl :-)
I do not have a history of twins in my family though I have been pregnant with twins twice total with only 1 live birth resulting. I concieved all my children taking clomid as I do not ovulate normally.
Wish me luck ladies. I dont care if I have twins or what have you.. I just want to add another precious baby to our family.

Hi Heather, Welcome I am sorry to hear about your loses, I hope that things work out alot better for you this time. I am 5 weeks pregnant with baby #2 from first round prescribed clomid and am so excited and nervous. I too will be happy with any healthy and happy addition to our family, although I would love twins. Fingers crossed for all of us. Jaime

Amanda - what days did you take it this mth 3-7? I got headaches every day I took the 50mg I can about imagine what the 100 will be like however I am taking it at night time to see if thats any better.
Julie - I'm sorry to hear that I too had a m/c in Dec & then a perfect pg in Jan came of it. Good luck...welcome heather best of luck
