I would love to have updates from everyone too. I have always done things this way in life either all the way or nothing. I figure this is pretty important so I better go all the way :o). I am also going to add in yams frequently, I love them anyways just with butter, salt & pepper. I think I remember reading from someone here that it is your second cycle of clomid that will give you a better chance of concieving twins or concieving period. Holly

Hi all - Welcome all new posters. Congrats Zoe - thats a bunch of us this mth. You would think if stats say 1 in 6.5 that one of us will have twins....hmmmm who will it be? As for me just got a pot belly (since I've had 2 children already), hungry & tired by 8:00, sore boobs & thats about it. Kristen good to hear from you good luck on the wait ...its so tough. Yas2000 - good luck in Oct. I took my clomid at night & it really helped me with the side effects.
Congrats Riley - what amt did your doc take her clomid / and days? Baby dust X2 all

Ladies, I need to know what I can take with my clomid. I will be taking 100mg from 2-6. Can I still take fertil aid and vit. E, bee polen, royal jelly and B6. I also take green tes pills. Is all this safe to take while on clomid as well??
Need to know soon thanks as always you ladies are all great! Sending lots of babydust!!

To Crystal - September 11th, 2005 9:06 AM

From what the other women have posted it sounds like this is a good combination to help increase fertility and that it is taken in combination with the clomid. Someone here suggested taking the clomid at night to help decrease the side effects you feel. So you could take your vitamins in AM and the clomid before bed so you don't have so much in your stomach at one time. HTH Holly

Has anyone ever heard of "lunaception"? It has something to do with light therapy and ovulation. I dont know about it, but I was just reading something about it last night. Sounds interesting.

AmandaL - September 11th, 2005 1:38 PM

Hi Everyone--I just received clomid and have been hanging onto it without really knowing the best way to use it, so I want to thank you all for all your posts! I was an egg donor for an infertile couple last year and since have had a hard time conceiving on my own. I read that you should be taking a "fert aid" in addition to clomid. Can someone tell me what this is? Is there anything else that I should do in the meantime? I'm nervous, this is my first go around with my own baby. Thanks everyone!

Amanda - September 11th, 2005 2:05 PM

Julie, the first two months on clomid at 50mg I ovulated on the 14th as well. My third month I went up to 100mg and actually felt myself ovulate on the 17th. I took my hpt on the 28th day and go a bfn. Waited four more days and got a bfp which would have been 14 days after I ovulated. By the way, I took it days 3-7.

Julie - September 11th, 2005 4:59 PM

Amanda - Thanks! I'm on CD 20 and I FINALLY got a +OPK late last night and again a REALLY strong one this afternoon. So, I hope that it's not too late, and that it gives the egg/s enough time to implant. That's a really short luteal phase, but Kim said she o'd on CD 19, so that gives me some hope. I'll just have to plan on testing somewhere from 12-14 days from now. My AF is due in about 9-10 days, so if I haven't gotten it by then, it could just be slow from the late ovulation, or I'll test soon after and hopefully get a BFP. I've gotta tell you, I was getting really discouraged with all the -OPK's. I buy them in bulk off the internet, and I was doing it several times a day, to catch it. At least I'm finally O'ing, and I still have a chance. The Clomid really did make me react differently this cycle. The first time I took it, I concieved on days 2-6, but miscarried a few weeks later. So, this time I did it on days 3-7, in hopes of getting more mature eggs. I kind of wish I'd waited and done it on 4-8 or 5-9. Oh well. We'll see if this works. If not, I'll be doing it on my own w/out clomid, since I only bought the two doses. I hope this is the month, and they stick! Baby Dust to everyone, and Good Luck. Keep posting everyone...I love reading about how everyone's doing.

Rome - I forgot to tell you that Robitussen and Baby Asprin are used for different things. Most people take both of them. The choice is usually between Robitusen or Mucinex. Robitusen you have to take several times a day because of the lower quantity of guif. mg per serving. Mucinex has 600mg per pill, and so you only have to take it once a day. I always use that, and haven't had any CM dryness. I'm not sure but am just assuming that's why. I didn't really have any side effects with the Clomid, besides the late O'ing this cycle, so I don't know if the Mucinex really did anything or not. But, it doesn't hurt! Good Luck.

Sunita - September 12th, 2005 4:31 AM

Hi all, hope all is well for everyone. No news from me just yet, prep for the family wedding is going on so very busy with that, also AF is visiting - last cycle before I start on Clomid and then hopefully that will be the last cycle for the following 9mths!! Hi Yas, I will too be taking Clomid in Oct and hopefully conceiving during this month too so maybe we'll be on the same track...that would be exciting!! I got my clomid from edrugnet.co.uk however the tabs actually came from Thailand. I was abit dubious (naturally) so when I went to see my GP I asked if they were the real deal and, yes they are. My GP has advised taking Clomid on days 2-6 during the next cycle, I will be taking the tabs at night as I have started taking Pronatal vitamins which I currently take night so will remember both - the doc has said it is safe to take both. Anyways, all the best to everyone - ***baby dust***Lauren - Hope you're well, pls post an update, have you had ur US yet??
