Well last night DH and I had little tift. so no BD but will tonight. Do you think that will be OK? Or did we miss it for this cycle.

Julie - October 27th, 2005 11:37 PM

You're probably still ok. That happened with me and my dh, also. We had just been bd'ing everyday, and when I finally got my +opk (on day 20!!!!) we started having issues...nothing major, but enough to make me say, forget it, I'll try again next month. I was definately not in the mood. So, we missed a couple crucial days, and I didn't think I'd get pregnant. But, I guess we said our apologies just in time, or they hung on from an earlier bd.... I don't know, but now I'm almost 10 wks pregnant! It was a surprise, that's for sure! Good Luck!

im only a few weeks pregnant and i am already showing way more than the normal person. This is my first pregnancy and i have no clue what to expect. i have severe mood swings and food cravings, but i dont experience morning sickness. Twins do run in both of our families. Should I be planning for twins??

Anastacia,

The only way to determine that you're pg with triplets is through an u/s. If you're suspicous, then ask your OB to do an early u/s. Your chances of conceiving multiples only increases if there are FRATERNAL twins or triplets on your MOTHER'S side. The father's side has nothing to do w/it, and identical multiples are not due to hyperovulation, yet an egg splitting. My chances were increased b/c I am a fraternal twin myself and I used clomid. As far as the symptoms -- it's hard to say. Every woman responds to pregnancy differently - for me, the main difference between my singleton and multiple pregnancy was that my morning sickness (or better put: ALL DAY SICKNESS) was extreme. Like vomiting at least twice each day. The other things I experienced were; headaches, cramping, and exhaustion. HTH's!

Julie thanks for the encouragment! After reading the OPK instructions again it said 24 hours after is when most fertile. So hopefully I hit it perfectly. I guess we will see. Now starts the 2ww. However, I know I won't be able to wait the entire 2ww before I test.

DP - October 28th, 2005 1:56 PM

Angela W.- You sound a lot like me, I am also taking clomid, mine is perscribed due to no O and low progesterone levels. I am just past O and feel exactly as you described in your other listing about everyone taking clomid, do you think you are PG? I am wondering, but have not tested yet, I thought I would wait a few more days and see if more simptoms start up. I have also been expierancing a little nausia and smell sensativity. I don't think its due to the clomid, I also took it last month but was unsuccessfull in conceving due to the fact that O was so painfull it I spent the vital day in the emergency room and bd was way too painfull. I did not feel like this last month. How early is too early to tell?

mmot2002 - October 29th, 2005 10:38 AM

Hi all---I haven't posted since Sept. but thought I would give a little update. Well, I have faithfully taken all my supplements (fertilityblend for women, 4000mcg folic acid, baby aspirin, mucinex, and flax seed oil) daily for 3 1/2 months now. As a trial month, I started clomid 25mg days 4-8 (nights of 3-7). I will take my last pill tonight. I have to say, I haven't found my side effects to be too bad. Really just hot flashes once in a while mostly at night but some during the day, can't say I have felt any different other then that. So I am counting this month as a success and will increase my dosage next month to 50mg same days and really ttc. So wish me luck as I wish all of you the same kind of luck & double baby dust to us all ;o)!

I have to say this 2ww is driving me crazy. Amanda am excited to hear about your U/S. Lauren are you 12 weeks already? Time flies(except during 2ww) LOL! Julie when will you go for your next US.

Amanda - November 1st, 2005 3:16 PM

I just got back and everything went well. The baby's heartbeat is 156. I go back Nov. 29th to find out the sex. I would love to have a boy, but just want a healthy baby. Now that I am officially in my 2nd trimester and have heard the heartbeat again I feel I can relax and enjoy the rest of my pregnancy. Let me know how your visit goes Lauren.

Amanda - November 1st, 2005 3:18 PM

Congradulations Brenda!! Keep us informed on your progress.

Julie - November 1st, 2005 4:37 PM

Hey all! It sounds like everyone's doing well. I had my 10 week (9 week baby, ovulated late) appointment, my first real appointment with my doctor. I'm measuring a little big, but the doc didn't seem concerned about it. I go back in 2 weeks to try and hear the heartbeat with the doppler again. I don't know when I'll get another u/s. Right now, I'm just planning on waiting 6-10 weeks for the 16-20 week u/s. They told me I could find out the sex at 16 weeks if I want...hmmm...that would be just before Christmas...we'll see. My doctor said today that it appeared to be a healthy pregnancy...cervix nice and closed, uterus growing...etc. I stop taking progesterone in a few weeks, so that will be good. I sure wish my pregnancy symptoms would start to vanish soon. I'm feeling pretty miserable most of the time. I'm so drained. My poor kids... Well, that's my update. I hope we hear the heartbeat when we go back in 2 weeks. Good luck to everyone!

I am going threw the same thing as you are. I have had 2 miscarriages in the past year. I have zero children so just trying to get my first one. My last miscarriage was this past Sept. I have been taking progestrin for about 1 month and everything looks good but I can't seem to ovulate. I keep checking it every morning and nothing. I was having a 31 day cycle. Could the miscarriage have thrown off my cycle. Did it throw off yours? I am hoping to have twins my first time out. I am sooo glad I found this web site. It looks liek there is alot of sisters helping sisters. :) Baby Dusts and Baby stickeys to everyone.

to kim....My name is Amy - November 3rd, 2005 2:12 PM

I didn't give you my name before. Any words of wisdom from anyone would help. It is sooo hard to try to concieve so soon after a miscarriage because you are always expecting the worst. I will pray for everyone.
