I ordered some Clomid from a pharmacy online and when it came, the box that is was packaged in said "Omifin", does anyone know if this is the same thing? I was just curious. ~*BABY DUST to all who want it!!*~

omifin is a foreign compound - specifically spanish brand for clomid

Well I started my 2nd round of clomid today (cd2-6) How are you guys doing on it?

I side effects have been much worse than I expected to tell you the truth. I have had lots of hot flushes, the worst were on the first and second day. But, I have been really tired and pretty terrible in general, like I was coming down with a cold. I had to forse myself to take the fourth tablet today. I hope this works because I dodn't want to be on this for too much longer.
I'll let you know how I go on Monday. I'm really nervous.

So to here about the test. How did you find the first round of clomid? I know you were on a mixture of things but how did you feel? I felt terrible....
I am on Cd9 now so we still have a while to go.

I am feeling the side efects more this time. I didn't feel anything last month till maybe cd10 or so, and then i got headaches. This time though I feel my same side (????) overy pinching. I am only on my first pill. If it keeps up I will call my dr. I took just the clomid and estradoil (for more cm) last month. This month I am going to take progestron (sp) along with the same formula as last month because my linning was a tad bit thin. Anyways good luck to you, and keep in touch!

I started cd 2-6 100mg (first round) ended July 3. Took advice from Kim posting 6/8/05 with regard to baby asprin and robitussin. Started OPK on July 6 (6day kit). Starting tonight is BD. Should O around 13th. Have you started clomid? The only side effects I had were hot flashes!

Good luck! Make sure you keep us updated! :) Are you hoping for twins? I have not started the Clomid yet. I have an 11 month old son and recently finished breast feeding him so AF is crazy right now. It took us 2 1/2 years just to conceive him. We'll probably start trying again in late Fall and hopefully my cycles are back to normal by then. ~Kristen

Hi Ladies - well I'm on my second last clomid 50mg pill today & feeling like I'm gettin ga cold & headaches all the time...other than that ok. I'm so bummed b/c the rest of my script didn't come in to top me up to 100 mg so my chances of twins are even less now...What can you do? The only thin I have going for me is I do ovulate on my own already. Glad to see everyone is still pluggin away...baby dust girls...I'm toooooo bummed!

Hello everyone. I just found this forum and have read all the posts with great delight and interest. I am so anxious to hear who has conceived and who is carrying multiples!
I have a 23 month old daughter and would like multiples next time.
I have just started to research clomid as a way of increasing the chance of multiples. If I learn anything that hasn't been posted here, I will add it. Of course, I am still trying to figure out a lot of the letters like AF and CD!

AF = Aunt Flo (menstrual period)
bd = Baby Dance (have sex)
BFP = Big Fat Positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN = Big Fat Negitive (negitive pregnancy test)
BIE = Basic Infertility Evaluation (testing during one menstrual cycle)
BPT = Blood Pregnancy Test
b/w = bloodwork
DH = dear husband
CD = Cycle day (day in my menstrual cycle with 1 being the first day of my period)
HPT = Home Pregnancy Test
IUI = Intrauterine Insemination (the RE inserts sperm into the uterus)
IVF = In-Vitro Fertilization
PCOS = Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
RE = Reproductive Endocrinologist
s/a = semen analysis
tvu/s = transvaginal ultrasound
TWW = Two week wait (the time between ovulation and pregnancy testing)
u/s = ultrasound
