Krissy68- thanks so much for answering my questions. I have one more....if i concieved my girls w/o any meds,do u think taking the meds now will increase my chances more then 10% and does having twins run in my family also up it..I was told to take a pg test end of the month i'l definitly let u know, good luck to you also keep me posted

itsMelissa81 - Not really sure about it increasing your chances and from what I read if twins run on the mother's side then you will have a good chance of having twins yourself. What day are you testing? I am testing on Sep 29. What cd are you on? I'm on cd 17 and 4 dpo. Let me know. Krissy68

I'm also testing on the 29th.i'm also on cd17 (if that means cycle day) not sure what dpo means.Good luck to you. if we are both on the same days when do you think the best time to try and concieve is?

itsMelissa81 - Hi cycle buddy and dpo means days past ovulation. Do you know when you ovulated? I'm really the wrong person to ask but I always start bding after AF. But my doctore told me to bd from cd 10-16 and I have been ovulating between cd 12-14. Do you have fertility friend? It's a website that help you in deteriming when you are fertilty and all that. Do you take your temp? Do you use the opk test strips? Here is my little update nothing really. I am on cd 18 (just like you) 5dpo and I am feeling crampy and moody and a little tired how about you? To me this stuff is so confusing..You would think being a women I would know all that goes on with my body. From what the ovalation calendar reads im ovalating days 18-23.I don't take my temp or anything. I should but im always so busy that i just forget. I try to go by what i read and how i feel,then just pray that i'm right.I was thinking that from tonight till tuesday my hubby and i should do our thing. Its hard though cause we never really have any time to ourselves. he works nights and when it comes to the weekend between doing things with our girls and things around the house, by the night he ends up falling asleep putting my daughter to bed. Hopefully we can squeeze some alone time in and it works. I 'llkeep my fingers crossed for the both of us.Sometimes it feels like i'm using him:) but im sure he don't mind. Have a fantastic weekend. itsMelissa81 - How was your weekend? did you get in any bding time I hope so. My weekend was very busy and tiresome and I wasn't thinking about bding anyway I have already ovulated so it would be just because for us. I have exactly 1 week left before I can test and this will be the longest week ever. I'm not feeling anything different I am just more hungry it's like I don't get enough to eat. Hi Krissy68...my weekend was good,thank you.And i did get some time with my hubby. I've been having some really bad pain in my lower abdomin, so bad that i called my ob and explained what i was feelin and he wanted me to come in but i couldn't find anyone to watch my girls and i didn't wanna bring them since they both been sick.If it doesn't go away or lessen by tomorrow i may just have to go in. What do u think it can be?? I'm also testing in a week. Its cool that we can go through this together .It's even cooler that we're going through it on the same days. I'm not sure on your beliefs, but i'll be praying every nite for us. Wouldn't it be great come monday we both get good news, then find out we are voth having twins. itsMelissa81 - Well I broke down and tested at 8dpo and it was a bfn which I knew it would be I was just feeling so sick yesterday that I just decided to take a test just to see. Oh well. How are you feeling today I hope better and no I don't know what that could be I pray every day for everybody to get what their heart's desire. Yes it would be great we get our bfp on the same day. I'm not sure that I will but I know you will see I turned 40 back in Jun so my clock is running out so I mines as well face it. I do have 4 girls from a previous relationship their ages are 20, 18, 14, and 3 soon to be 4 next month. I would love to have twins as well. Iam so sorry that u got a negative result, but don't give up.If i could be of inspiration my aunt concieved her 4th daughter at 46.I hope that will give you a boost of confindence!Keep trying it will happen, especially if u want it that bad. I'm still experiencing the sharp pains in my belly,but i couldn't see the doctor again cause my girls are so sick. I want to go,but i would hate to bring them around women who are pg. With all this discomfort it makes me wanna test now,but im trying so hard to wait.Are you still gonna test on the 29th just in case it was to soon? I would.Were you on any meds with your pregnanices? itsMelissa81 - Thank you so much for your kind words you are such a sweety. How are you feeling today? I hope better and the pain is going away. How are your girls feeling I hope better? With the first 3 girls No Meds at all but with the 4th daughther he did give me clomid but my insurance change and I didn't want to pay for the clomid and I got pg on my own but at the time I was in a long distance relationship with the girls father so he was only coming to CA every few months. I think I got lucky with the last baby. Anyway I am going to test again on the Sep 29 and I am trying to be very strong. The only thing that is bothering me is now I can't really get comfortable and now I am waking up to go peepee that is how it was with the last baby I don't want to get my hopes up still starving and I am not having my chocolate cravings like normal. Hi krissy68 i gave in and also tested early and boy did i upset myself. as i was in the bathroom i looked at the test and saw 1 line as i was just about to throw it out 2 lines appeared i was so excited i was jumping up n down my heart was beating so fast i was so sweaty, i couldn't get downstairs quick enough. i made it downstairs and could barely get the words out of my mouth i told my mom my daughter and my dad. i was still very excited and something made me go back to the bathroom n read the instrutions...Then it happened my heart broke, broke into tiny little pieces. I read the test wrong instead of 2 blue lines meaning you were pg it meant u weren't. a line and a plus sign was a postive. i cried like a baby/ i never took that kind of test b4. but im still being positive and going to test the end of the month im praying it was just to soon to test.How have you been? So far my weekend has started off crappy my husband an i have been arguing since this morning hopefully we reckincile soon, i really hate to fight it affects my oldest i know it does. well enough with that i hope that your weekend is good and i hope your still remaining positive. keep your head up ill be prayin for the both of us. I recently gave brth to twins and lost one my boy was born 6lb 15oz and the girl was born 4lb 7oz and she didnt make it (this was 7wks ago) the weird thing is that at my fisrt sono there were 3 sacs 2 babies since the lost I have been obessed with having twins my research has landed me here I would like to know how to take CLOMID UNPRESCRIBED and what else to take with it I have read you can take baby asprin or mucinex any one who has taking it can you plz give me detail info on how to take it what days and how long My fam history my grandmother had triplets that died in child hood my father has 3 or 4 sets of twin cant remeber he has too much kids to keep count.....lol I now have a 7year old boy and a 7 wk baby boy so yes a girl is wanted but heathy babies are better so if you can plz give me any info expiernce and success stories well be very welcomed to those who I know are going to judge shave it and dont waste your time and just go on and ignore my pain due to my loast it may sound selfish but this is my need if any one knows any way to conceive a girl is also welcomed but not very important TY and I will keep in touch ↓

taking clomid raises your chances of twins by 5% at the most. don't put yourself at risk. and if you can get pregnant without help, be happy with what you're blessed with. some women can't have babies even with clomid. and we certainly weren't saying "well i'll take it so i can have twins". that's a bit selfish. and dangerous for you.

hi niobe, i am so sorry for your lost. I have been blessed with two beautiful girls, gianna 5years old and daniella 6months. I also would love to have twins(preforably girls) I was on clomid 50mg days 3-7 ,unfortunatly it did not work last cycle. I got my period on Wendesday and will start clomid on saturday this time im upping my dose to 100 maybe 150mg.I was told clomid increases your chances by 10% and if you have a family history of twins it betters the chance. I'm hoping that me increasing my dose will better my chance.last cycle i read the ovalation calender wrong,i believe thats the reason it didn't work.i also heard that baby aspirin, musanex,and robotussin helps along with taking clomid cycles 3-7. i read and was told that days 3-7 has the most success , There is a forum about yams helping in concieving but i can't remember you might wanna check it out.
