Nikki - Thank you so much for your words. That is exactly how I feel, you nailed it. It is going to be so hard this month if I am not preg - my DH actually broke down the other night and cried because he is so frustrated - we have been together for 4 years and I have NEVER seen him cry. It is going to be such a letdown. I also hate letting myself get attached to the idea or get excited about it. I am happy I have someone to wait with me until the day of! Now there is someone else who is living the longest week ever with me :) Whats your story? How long have you been trying?

km_hji : i am taking promitrium(vaginally) i have to take it till my dr. tells me to stop. I am also taking my prenatal vitamins also.

I got off the pill last april thinking we would start trying in the fall. My cycle never normalized. I didn't have a period for months at a time, so my OB put me on clomid in Dec. I got preg in January but lost it in the first few weeks. So this is my second round of clomid. My DH have been together 8 1/2 yrs. We were high school sweethearts. I know what you're saying about it being hard on them too. My DH is having major performance anxiety during the week of my ovulation. (He would kill me if he knew I was posting this..lol) He is fine 3 wks of the month, but during that time he has a very difficult time. But watching him cry when I told him I was preg in Feb. was the most touching feeling I have ever felt in my life. I keep holding on to that, thinking it will happen again soon for us. He is going to be the most amazing father. I hope this week goes fast for us! What have you guys tried?

Nikki - At least you were able to get preg. so thats 1/2 the battle right there. I am SO sorry to hear that you lost the baby though. My DH had some performance anxiety too this month on what I think may have been the most crucial day of my cycle - although I hate to pinpoint it to 1 day you know? We have been trying for a year and my cycles have always been normal, almost like clockwork to the day they are going to start. So Feb was my 1st round of 50mg clomid days 3-7, I had an HSG test and DH had a semen analysis, both came out normal. On March 6th I went in for bloodwork and my dr said if my estrogen was over 500 he would give me the HCG trigger shot. So on Saturday March 7th he called me and told me my estrogen was at 900, so I went in that morning for the trigger shot (10,000 units) and now I am just waiting...... Do you have any symptoms or anything? Are you going to test early or wait til Sunday to see if AF shows?

morning ladies, cd31 10/11dpo, did a preg test this am and got a neg :-( boooo,
oh well, just waiting for af now, still hoping somehow i could be, maybe its too early to test..... or maybe il have to give it another try next cycle.

Hope- I am sorry for the negative, but you are right it could be too early at the moment. HCG levels rise every 48 hours, for some women it takes them 2 weeks after their due date for a +HPT.
My Doc also told me the some women do not show a +ve on doing a HPT. Blood Test is the real deal.
If af does not show, keep testing!

AF was due on the 14th, sat.

km_hji - I am taking 100 MG prometrium (progesterone) orally in the AM and 100 MG in the PM daily until I am at 12 weeks - so 2 and a half more weeks... I also take prenatal vitamin, DHA supplement for smart babies, low dose aspirin for clotting and folate (vitamin B6, B12 and folic acid) due to a mutation of MTHFR in my DNA that prevents me from processing enough folic acid for a healthy pregnancy.

No symptoms yet. Hoping to soon. My Dr did a progesterone test before I got on the clomid but that was it. Is that weird? How did your OB determine that you needed a trigger shot? I'm not testing early this time. I used to think waiting to test was the hard part, but after what happened to me last time, I'll wait a little longer this time. I think I'll test tue or wed next week. But, I'm not feeling too optimistic.

Nikki - I think he determined it because of my estrogen levels. I had talked to a few other women on this site and they thought it was wierd that he did not do a u/s to see if I had mature follicles before he gave me the shot but the more I researched it online I found that a high estrogen levels shows there is a mature follicle. My dr didnt even do any test before he put me on the clomid he just had me track my bbt for a month. I am not testing early either I cant take a - and seeing AF. If I dont get my AF by Tuesday then I will but like you I am not feeling too optimistic either.

Hope - you may have just tested too early - are your AFs generally ontime? I am keeping my fingers crossed that you just tested to early and you will get your BFP any day now.

Hi, ladies I just finished my first round of clomid 50 mg I'm due to start using an opk tomorrow so far I have been feeling cramps nothing else so far wish me luck baby dust to all

hello guys I have finished the clomis as of yesterday Sunday march 15. I am just waiting for the fun stuff to begin. lol. I hope that this first round will be my only round. I have been wanting this for a long time. I guess I am ovulating or going to ovulate. My breast seem to have gotten bigger and sore since I had been taking clomid. My doctor never mentioned me coming back in to get any test done to see if I am ovulating. He only told me to come back in two months if I wasn't pregnant yet. I hope this works. I took clomid (my ob/gyn told me to do so)without having a period on the 5th becuz AF didn't show after taking somthing to bring it back and guess what 3 days after the last pill of clomid Af arrive so ob/gyn told me to skip this cycle n take it next month but he also told me that it has an effect on this cycle so my question is can i expect to O very early as i took my last pill of clomid 3 days befor AF becuz right now i have ovulation pain. PLZ ANSWER ME IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME PLZ GIRLS i am waitin 4 ur answers. I want that baby so bad i cnt wait to be pregnant.
