rpats - Yes she does know that he is leaving but all the sudden she wants my other doc's permision to treat me. It blows my mind that she wasnt worried about that last month. Yesterday I didnt feel like she was sympathetic to my situation at all. We are limited to 2 OB's where I live and the other is slammed. So I guess that I dont have a choice but to wait.

SoReady - April 9th, 2009 10:25 AM

Chewymio - We are stationed overseas and we dont have an RE. I can either deal with the OB that I have or I can try stuff on my own. At least if I put up with her I will have the u/s to see if I have any mature eggs ready to ovulate. I am just upset that I am gonna have to wait another 3 months.

SoReady- ah... i see. that sucks :( OB's are def hard to find... and if you are limited to just 2 that is even worse. What about going to an RE? Does your insurance cover that? I can feel your anxiety, my husband has 2 trips scheduled for this month, and that is making me panick that he may not be here on key dates... i cant imagine you having him absent for 3 months

Chewymio - April 9th, 2009 10:50 AM

SoReady- That really sucks... Oh well I guess you just have to be patient with your OB and see if you can convince her that an u/s could be helpfull in determining if you ovulate, the endo lining thickness and how big your follicles are... Good Luck and keep us posted!

SoReady - April 9th, 2009 10:58 AM

rpats - We dont have any kind of RE here. I would probably have to fly back to the states for that and I am sure that it would end up costing us a lot of money.

Chewymio - My Ob doesnt have a problem with giving me the u/s and the shot. My problem is that she doesnt want to give me clomid for my next cycle because she wants to wait and talk to my other doc's. The problem is that my husband is being deployed and wont be back for 3 months. I guess I will just have to wait but I'm not happy about it.

rpats - April 9th, 2009 11:23 AM

SoReady- how long does it take your doc to talk to your other doc. A day? Two? cant she rush that? maybe you can ask her to so that you can get one last round in before your husband leaves?

SoReady - April 9th, 2009 12:10 PM

The other doc was just deployed this month and he will be gone for 6 months. Had my OB told me last month that she wanted to talk to him, she could have before she left. Now she is looking for another doc that is similar to mine that can answer her questions. She said that she will call me next week sometime, but in my experience with her this translates to me having to call and leave her messages for three days. She isnt too good at getting back to me quickly. But who knows maybe it will all work out.

So Ready, I hope that your Dr.'s get all that figured out and quick so you can get another round in before your husband is deployed. Your such a strong woman!!! Best of Luck to you and I pray that your OB moves quickly!!!
Glad to hear everything is going well Jessi, that's so inspirational! 9 weeks already time does fly!! Still no AF for me..just wish it would get here since I got my bfn on Monday. My husband wants me to test again but I don't want to see another negative...

Ashley2121 - April 9th, 2009 2:07 PM

Jessi - Thats so exciting! 9 weeks WOW time really is flying by.

Soready - I am sorry you are having such a hard time with your dr.

As for me I went to the dr today becuase I saw a very little bit of light light brown discharge - of course I started crying and freakin out (understandable right. Well my dr did an u/s and you will never guess - I AM HAVING TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are 2 babies and I saw 2 heartbeats!!!!!!!! I cant believe it. However my dr was quick to warn me that in the early weeks 6 out of 10 twin pregnancys end in the loss of 1 of the twins. He said its too early to tell if I will carry both to full term but that fact that there are already 2 heartbeats is a good thing - he said generally, not always, you are in the clear by week 12. I started crying and DH was so excitied!! I have another appt on the 17th.

Baby dust to all!!:)

Jessi- that is so exciting... to be able to hear the heartbeat and see it get stronger and stronger must be amazing.... :)

bmcoh - Thanks you so much for the support. My dh just told me tonight that there is a good chance that his boat will pull in for a couple of days when I am O'ing so I am thinking about going ahead and getting some u/p clomid in case my doc doesnt come through in time. I'm gonna try not to get to excited though.

Ashley - Congrats!!! I hope the babies continue to do well! Again Congrats!!!

bmcoh - April 9th, 2009 3:52 PM

CONGRATS ASHLEY!!!! That's so awesome! You will be in prayers for 2 healthy babies! Good Luck and take it easy!!! So Ready you are very welcome all of us ladies need each others support to get through these tough times!! I don't blame you at all for getting u/p clomid! That would be perfect if he got to see you while your O'ing!! Good Luck to you!! I took another test this afternoon and of course I got to see a bfn. I just want AF to show up now and see what cycle 4 brings us.

bubbles86 - April 9th, 2009 4:46 PM

Ashley - congratulations on your twins, I hope everything goes well 4 u.

Soready- I don't blame u for getting u/p clomid as I am 2 because I am in a similar situation as u and my doctor does not support me using clomid. That's y I asked so may questions before. I am still somewhat confused although u helped me alot . I hope everything goes well 4 u. And to the rest of u lots of baby dust to all...^_^
