Thanks for the welcome everyone. Rpats, congratulations!!! Ashley I am so looking forward to finding out what you are having! Shashana, hopefully now the problem has been taken care of so you are good to go.

AFM, just waiting to O. Today is cd 13 and I don't feel any changes with my body. I am scared that I won't O even with 100mg. Keeping my fingers crossed though, lets see what happens...

Ashley2121 - July 2nd, 2009 7:22 PM

Well its undeniably 2 boys!!! I had some candy before my appt to make sure they were moving around and it worked. They are measuring perfect, my fluid is perfect, cervix is perfect - I am SO SO excited. Dylan James is 11 ounces and Connor Joseph is 10 ounces.

shashana - July 2nd, 2009 7:24 PM

Maya444 - July 2nd, 2009 7:38 PM

Congratulations Ashley, wish you a healthy rest of pregnancy. You better get started on your shopping now coz you will need to get double of everything for the boys... have fun :)

shashana - July 2nd, 2009 7:39 PM

Oh and by the way I'm not on clomid but my left ovary hurt just like when I was taking clomid so I hope I will O this cycle. I feel it is working hope it will produce good quality egg and I'm on cd6

How about you merciano?

bzwifenmom24_7 - July 2nd, 2009 7:48 PM

Ashley and rpats: Many thanks for that info. It's reassuring to know that I can still take Clomid during HSG. It's the only way I will ovulate.
I suspect that I have blocked tubes, because it's exactly 12 months now since we've been TTC with no success yet. Blocked tubes sometimes caused by scar tissues of cesarean or any abdominal operations they say. I had 2 cesareans, one miscarriage and one appendectomy.
AF showed up last night, I'm scheduled to have an HSG on Thursday. I will start my 5-9 days of Clomid on Monday. Then on the 24th is my appointment with an RE.

Ladies, let's keep trying, keep dreaming and keep praying for our miracle babies, because once you have a baby you'll definitely want to have another one or more. I have way too much fun being a mommy. My little girls are sweet and adorable- they always make me laugh even without trying to. What I would I give to have more, more, more just like them, my little round bundle of joy. Some people think I'm crazy for wanting more but I don't care. I'm a good mother and I love my children. Every loving person who wants to have children deserved to be able to have one of their own. At the end of the day: Motherhood is the hardest job, and yet it’s the most fulfilling.

TinaOB: Welcome to this forum. May you find comfort and support from all those who had success stories.

bzwifenmom24_7: Had my HSG done today and it was painful just like AF cramps but it was more painful then AF cramps but it depends to the person you might not feel those cramps i felt. But I read that when you have reel pain doing the HSG is that your tube are block or partly becaus the dye cant really pass So I guess that's why it was so painful for me. Hope evrything will go fine for you anyway

Wow! it's so good to know you are having two boys Ashley, congrats. Iam happy for you, it has always been my dream to have twins, two boys and a girl later. I even bought some baby boys clothes sometime last year, that's to show how much i love to av them. Hope you are going to pray for me to be like you soon, lol. The names are lovely and make sure you dnt tell anyone so they dnt steal them.

Iam on cd9 shasha and am not taking clomid this cycle as i av said earlier, i will wait for my appointment to know what next. I usually ovulate so i cant really say what my problem is. Anyway, am happy you ve got ur hsg done and hopefully this cycle will be yours.

bzwifenmom24_7 - July 3rd, 2009 12:17 AM

Shashana: thanks a lot for sharing your experience with me regarding HSG procedure. Let's hope we get prego this cycle, then we can surely say that HSG + Clomid + BD works!

SoReady - July 3rd, 2009 2:50 AM

Ashley - I am so happy for you. I am sure that Dylan and Connor will be a joy when they arrive.

Maya444 - July 3rd, 2009 4:22 AM

A quick question: is anyone here taking Metformin? My doc has me on 1000mg a day. I am not insulin resistant, but she said it's supposed to help with ovulation. If anybody is taking it, did it actually work?

TinaOB - July 3rd, 2009 6:49 AM

Hi all!!!!! Im so glad Clomid is working for most of ye!!!! But it works different people...
It was shown that I was not ovulating on my own so they started me on Clomid... 50mg.... I am now on day 3 of my 3rd cycle... Last month the scan showed that I had an egg and they gave me an injection to bring it out... But no joy.. My confidence is at an all time low since m baby and the weight has piled on. I lost my job just after having my baby and then I had an gallstones op few months later... Now Im ready to start again but im just not getting the result i need....

bamendjou - July 3rd, 2009 11:27 AM

Hi all,
Glad to see everybody is doing well!
Welcome to all newbies, Maya444, TinaOB and wewant3. This forum is excellent for the support we get!Enjoy ttcing!
TinaOB - I am so sorry to hear that!! I can't imagine what u went thru!! And u went thru so much! God Bless ur heart!I sure hope this month is urs.
Ashley - Congratulations on the boys! How cool! And what nice names! I bet u will go on a shopping frenzy! :)
Maya444 - I am on metformin too 2000mg a day and I am not insulin resistant neither. I have been taking it since december of last year. Although i am not pregnant yet, metformin does help with O, the only thing though is that u have to take it for at least 4 months before it really starts working. But yeah it helps with O, especially accompanied byclomid or the likes. GL on ur cycle.
Mia - I've had that happen to me a couple of months. I would get a +opk twice a month, usually women with pcos get that since their LH levels are higher than normal. So we r more prone to false +opks. So what i did was also take my temps to make sure that i really O'ed. I don't trust opks as the only sign for O. R u takinf ur temps? And do u have pcos too? GL!!
lndtown - THank u for the laugh! My dh was looking at me like I had lost my mind!:) We really need a good laugh like that to take the edge off! Thanks!
AFM, i am at 7dpo and i went today for b/w to confirm O. Based on my temps I did O. My temp went way up today 98.62 after dropping yesterday from 98.18 to 97.79. I hope my progesterone level will be HIGH!!!
Baby dust to all! And how are all the ones in the 2ww doing?

les706 - July 3rd, 2009 1:40 PM

rpats ~ just wanted to let you know that they don't check the baby's measurements every time. I go to a perinatologist because I am high risk, and it sounds like they are better than your ob. They always tell me the heartbeat (since my first visit with them at 11 weeks). I originally was going every other week, and they would do a transvaginal us every other week to check my cervix, and every 4 weeks they would check the baby's measurements. Now I am going every week, but still only getting measurements done every 4 weeks. Don't worry though, I am sure your little peanut is just fine. I actually never get ultrasounds at my ob's office. And I just switched doctors because my old office couldn't keep things straight. One doc would say go on bedrest, the next would say wait, and then one doc ordered me on bedrest but never told me! So I have a new, smaller office of all women and so nice! I am 23 weeks today and my first goal is to make it to 28 weeks with this little guy...then 32. Hang in there, I know it's stressful!

les706 - July 3rd, 2009 1:42 PM

Oh yeah forgot to add - Congrats on the two boys Ashley! That's so exciting. And it's easier than a boy and a girl because they can share everything! Glad to hear they're doing well. Take care!
