Lacilou- I had the test done and my only remaining tube was fine. I had one removed after a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. It was a very uncomfortable procedure, with some cramping afterwards. It made me want to just go home and rest. It is something that should be done before taking any clomid, etc b/c if the tubes are blocked, then that month of clomid was a waste.

lacilou- the test is really not that bad....i know its scary, and i was terrified when i had it done, but the worst of it is the feeling of cramps... and you have the tendency to move when you feel a cramp, but you have to lie very still. the whole thing was over in just a few seconds- like less than a minute..... good luck to you!

Chewy - I will miss everyone too. I am trying to think positive because AF isnt due until Sunday but I just dont have a good feeling about this cycle anymore. I thought that I was experiencing some early pregnancy signs but every since the BFN they seems to be disappearing slowly or I find a logical resaon for them.

I have had some cramping off and on so I am wondering if that means that AF is on her way. (Sorry TMI) I have been peeing more often but I am wondering if that ios because I have been drinking more tea. Living overseas I cant hardly find Iced Tea so I have been taking advantage of it here.

I heard someone say nose bleeds can be a sign and I have had about 7 of them in the last week. But then I wonder if they are just due to the change in air (between Europe and the US).


lm - I am glad that your test went well!

I will be around until AF shows up. Then I will come on and say my good byes! Tomorrow is 14dpo and I am debating if I should go get a test. Part of me thinks it will be a waste of money but the other part of me doesnt want to wait until Sunday. In the past I have tested everyday starting 10dpo. What do you ladies think? All the ladies close to testing how are yall holding up?

Lacilou- I had it done. They call it the H.S.G. Test. My experience was semi-painful in that my cervix was almost completely closed. They need to run a tube through your vagina into your cervix then to your uterus where you are pumped with a dye. As this is taking place (done by a doctor) you and the doctor are looking at the screen- sonogram. He should tell you that as the uterus fills it will proceed to the tubes and continue through. If there is a stop in dye before it reaches the end of the tube then you have a blockage. FYI- most people and doctors say that there are often slight blockages that are cleared during this proceudre because the force of the dye pushes through. It is also suggested that you have an increase in fertility up to three months afterwards. I BELIEVE IT. I GOT PREGNANT THE NEXT MONTH AU D NATURAL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT AND WOULD SUGGEST WOMEN TO ASK YOUR DR. FOR THIS TEST BECAUSE ALL THE MEDICINE IN THE WORLD WON'T WORK IF YOUR TUBES ARE BLOCKED.

Look at me I have been ttcing for over 2 years and I am also over the hill but I will keep trying until I no longer have AF. Hey girls I know I haven't been on this forum much but I wanted to give a little update. No I am not pg but I am having my surgery sooner than I thought. I was all set and schedule to have it done on November 24 but my fiance has a doctor's appointment with a neurologist and we have been waiting on this so we will not be rescheduling. He really feels bad about this I told him don't worry about it I am flexible. I was hoping to have my surgery on November 11 because I don't have to work that day and my baby daughter would have been out of school from 11-13 but as luck would have it they couldn't get another doctor to come and help out so I have to go in on Tuesday November 10. I will be off line for a week so I will update when I get back to work on November 16. Keeping my fingers cross for each one of you. Krissy

merciano - I am back in the states and probably will be for a while. I miss my dh so much but my family needs me here. When are you testing?

Krissy - I am glad to hear that you will be getting your surgery soon. I havent lost all hope for this cycle but I am trying to be realistic in case I get a BFN.

SoReady: I pray that your mom will be better soon.

I'm taking a long break so I'm still wondering if I will be coming here or not since I just want to 4get for a while about TTC and all things that soround it. You Girls a lovely and made the last past month much easier for me to bear with your encouragement but I reelly need a break from all this.
I pray that evryone here will be a clomid sucess story.

Soready....i wnt be testing tomorrow, i ll rather give it more time cos i dnt really know and i wldnt want to bother myself unnecessarily. I knw its hard to be far away from ur dh but try and take heart. I wish ur mum quick recovery and big hello to her.

Well, I'm 14dpo today. I had blood taken this morning and about 30 Minutes later they told me that I really was Pregnant! :D I'm not sure what my hcg level was (either 69.5 or 96.5 - she talked to fast for me and I was trying to translate it to german while we were talking). But I'll have to go back on Monday to have a second test to make sure the levels are rising fine... So I hope everythig will be going good.

I pray for all those that are still trying or are in the 2WW and hope that it will turn out to be a BFP soon!

spark-Thank you! Not really. I tried to eat a bit healthier and took the meds like I'm supposed to and it just work. I guess I got real lucky.

May be luck, but perhaps just your time. Which days were you on clomid, miligrams and how long before you got this BFP?

I know the month I got preggers this time, I used Robittusin (sp?) along with my meds and the pre-natal vitamins. Worked for me. I will now swear by the robittusin.
