Kimmer23- I really have not had much luck lately with opks. I have taken them in the past and gotten a positive that I was ovulating, but now I never do. I have not tried taking temp yet. I bought an ovulation thermometer, but I have never used it. It says you are supposed to take it as soon as you wake up-before walking, talking, eating, drinking, etc... Before you do anything else basically! I dunno if they work or not.

Thanks for the info kimmer & I'm with you on trying opk's this mth I just ordered mine. London stay positive girl...just something else to think about.. Sam - congrats to you on your 2 bundles. I need advice ladies...do you count spotting as day 1 or not? It hasn't been very much at all for the past two days & I don't know what to do??

My doc told me to count the first day of spotting as cylce day one. with the opk it was very helpful. Well me and the hubby will try again and with the Lords help the pregnancy will go the full term. baby dust ti all

hello ladies.. geewife.. good to know u got hopes! i have been busy lately.. some thing weird happen to me last night when i was preparing dinner. i felt something warm liquid comin out from my vagina i thought AF is here, i rushed to the bathroom expecting to see AF. but i saw white liquid coming out i was surprised. i kept wiping it out with tissue. can any one tell what is the world was that. today it came out little bit more.london i am with you, ur day in saturday my day in sunday. when will u be taking preg test?? sammommy u are lucky to have 1 wonderful babies. do pray for us. take care guys. where there is hope there is a way!

Ladyshep: where do you order your opk's from? And do you order them in bulk? I just finished my progesterone today and been cramping the whole 10 days, so I hope this is a heavy one to get everything cleaned out.

Sorry to double post first off. Just read what Candie25 said. If you are diagnosed with PCOS, then your insurance should pay for it because you are not taking it because of infertility "TECHNICALLY" but because of a medical problem. That's why my insurance pays for it. Unless, of course, someone doesn't have insurance. Then...GO WALMART! I get my prenatals there =P

I do have a question for the ladies that know more about this than I do. What is the difference between taking Clomid on days 3-7 as opposed to 5-9. I hear about a lot of success with the 3-7 and wonder if I should do that instead of 5-9 like my doc says.

my dear darlings, sad news, AF came so heavily last night, i went to the bathroom thinking i'm going to urinate instead i urinated blood, yes i was a bit dissappointed but was always expecting it as i didn't have any pregnancy symptoms. last month i took clomid days 2-6, this month i'm trying 3-7, i guess cheri was right, my month is january, PL now that i'm not pregnant cheri's prediction is what keeps me going. i was hoping she's wrong i'm already pregnant. So clomid here i come, just wish it doesn't give me any side effects like last month. We going to keep trying girls and when it happens it would be the perfect timing. thank God for who ever started this forum.

Meg and PL, cheri apologised profusely for my prediction being late, she claims she doesn't know what happened and for that i'm automatically subscribed on sibling expess which is worth $15. now what is sibling express??

Bul ..I'm so sorry she came...darn! I'm with you on the 3-7 this mth too. Thanks fo rthe info ladyshep...I guess if I consider my spotting as day one then today is day 2. I had such bad cramps & my back is killin me I'm assuming today should be heavier. Whatzup I know with myself I always got an increase of cm creamy type when I was preg...so here is hoping. PL & London how r u? I ordered my opk's on ebay in bulk. They also came with 5 preg. tests.

thanks Rowan, but i'm not too sore, i refuse to let this get to me, my boy is waiting for mommy in january :-) i'll start mine tomorrow as i did not spot at all i had a heavy AF from the word go. my dr said i don't count the day when i'm only spoting i start the second day counting.

Sorry to hear that af came Bul. Maybe Cheri is right! :) January is soon. OK, based on what everyone is saying, I'll try an opk this month. I don't like not knowing....so, that may help. Starting day 1 of prometrium tomorrow...woo hoo!

Hey ladies. Well today Rowan my breast (nipples) are sore and still cramping I probably will test on monday if AF do not appear but I have all the symptons though. I might try Cheri and see what she tells me. Rowan when do you think you are going to test? Oh yeah my back was hurting yesterday but today its not that bad. Babydust to all!!!

Teddyfinch . . thank you for the info. on the insurance. Hopefully, this will be my last month on Clomid. :o) I have read that the difference in the days depends on the doctor and his experience. I have also HEARD that the days can effect number and size of mature follicles, but I have not read anything that has confirmed that is actually true. My doctor is having me take it days 3-7. I was instructed by the doc to start counting on the first normal flow day of my cycle, not spotting. Last month I had 1 mature follicle and confirmed ovulation with a progesterone test last Friday, but AF showed up Wed. Keeping my chin up.

Hey Girls. Because of the other threads stating that we (those TTC) are not welcome on the "twins and multiples" forum, I would like to start another thread (this one is really long anyway) under the "problems getting pregnant" category. Kimmer ~ WOW!!! I just love this forum so much that when I found I was haing twins I never even looked at the other boards. After your last post, I checked out the forum you spoke of and was appalled. It is sad that a few petty, whiney, B***** women can be so discriminating. I will definatly not be visiting that forum again. I will look elsewhere. I just hope to still be able to follow all of the wonderful ladies here. I feel like I know most of you and really want to know how you all are and congratulate you when you when you get pregnant. Such a shame that not all forums are as wonderful and supportive as this one!!!
