Hi everyone. Man, you get too busy at work to post in the last few days and everything changes... why are people thinking of leaving? For some reason, my mac won't let me read those few lines... I'm confused. But let me say that I have missed you ladies! It sounds like everyone has had the same kind of last couple of weeks that I have. As my Mom says, sometimes you're the bird, sometimes you're the statue. I have been the statue lately. So many things are just piling up, and on top of this pregnancy thing that I was not handling too well to begin with. I thought I would be telling everyone I was pregnant at Thanksgiving and now I probably won't even be preg let alone sharing the good news! It's really frustrating, esp. as a teacher, b/c to leave my job mid school year will cause Drama with the capital D. Is anyone else just feeling blah right now? And I am tired of how long everything takes. When I wasn't preg. in early Oct, it was like- great a whole nother month to try. Ugh. I am losing my ability to stay positive. It doesn't help that I really am not happy at my job and am only staying b/c I don't want to leave, start at a new school and get preg right away. So I feel like I have put my life on hold for something that is not happening. :-(. I've missed you ladies the last few days. I hope the rest of you are not experiencing this. Good luck!

Hello Ladies: Hope everyone is well as for me started 150mg days 2-6 & hoping for a different mth for all of us ladies. I don't know how many mths I can be on this drug...the s/e are awful! Geewife - sounds like s/e to me. have you o'd yet?

Hoping1 - October 28th, 2007 2:34 PM

Rowan,
How many months have you been on clomid? My doctor told me you should only be on it 6 months in a row at a time. I don't know if that is good news or not for you... I am taking this month off. Who knows what that'll do to everything... good luck!

london - October 28th, 2007 3:36 PM

Hey ladies well today AF started and its flowing.Well I guss i be on my second round of clomid this month trying to stay positive.

geewife1 - October 28th, 2007 4:27 PM

rowan I don't even know if I ov' or not these stupid opk kits aren't doing me a bit of good not a one has mention that I ov. I can't tell if those lines are dark enough or not. I will never buy an ov kit again unless it digital. But my doc said when she reviewed my u/s that I should be ov soon and that was on cd13 and I am currently on cd 17. My and hubby have been bding alot. I am surprised that we have found time considering our schedules and all. When there's a will there's a way.

Rowan - October 28th, 2007 6:20 PM

Geewife - Hopefully you o'd & made perfect timing. London sorry to here AF came...bummer I know. Hoping1 - I have been on clomid 3 times now & trying for 4 mths. a handful of my gfriends that have been on clomid got pg in their 3rd mth. I was 1 & 2nd with my other kids. This getting older thing doesn't help I'm sure. sweet dreamz

PL: I've never heard about that. I took the Gardasil shot and my doc never said anything about not getting preggy within 6 months, just to not be pregnant when you get the shot. And with the dangers of cervical cancer, I'd put babies off until I was done with the shot. That's not a risk I'd take.

Teddyfinch - October 28th, 2007 10:50 PM

poop i'm sorry. i hate to double post but i do have a question though. should i wait to see actual red during my period before i start counting cycle days or should i start counting when i see spotting?

PL - October 29th, 2007 1:01 AM

Hi Teddyfinch, I am not sure what the cervical cancer shot call, but my doc said we have to take 3 shots, 1st, 2nd and 6th month, therefore, we cannot fall preggo during this time. I am still young and I have no family history of any cancer, so I am willing to take the risk :) It sounds stupid and selffish, but I stopped trying for 6 months before, and I hate every min of it. So I will not wait for another 6 months. My Doc said we should count first day spotting as CD1

Bul - October 29th, 2007 2:24 AM

hopeng1, i think you should visit cheri as well, after af showed its ugly face as refered to by one of the ladies here, knowing that my baby could be coming in Jan is what keeps me going. when i was late and she predicted january i felt kind of disappointed as i was hoping i'm pregnant at that moment. PL thanks for the infor, will surely be writting to her again.

Bul - October 29th, 2007 2:40 AM

i think we all told different stories by our Dr. mine told me not to count the spotting day and start counting when i definately see AF, but this month i didn't spot, i urinated blood the first day, so i started counting then.

Bul - October 29th, 2007 8:06 AM

where is everyone guys, i hope you quite because you have too much work to do, not depressed because this turned out to be the bad month for most of us.

Kimmer23 - October 29th, 2007 11:15 AM

Bul - just to let you know, some girls are posting on the new thread. It's on this site, but under "problems getting pregnant" And it's called Clomid Success Stories # 2. I started it. I will go back and forth, but that is where some girls went... As for what day to start counting, my doc also told me to start the start day I see blood at all (but my af has been REALLY light since I stopped bc pills last Dec). So, I think that for me, I have to count then. I decided to start temping this month. People seem to have bad experiences with opks...so, I don't know if I want to get one. Well, baby dust to all! I hope this is OUR month!!

Teddyfinch - October 29th, 2007 1:58 PM

Well, I've been super lightly spotting for the past 3 days and this is driving me crazy. I stopped my progesterone 4 days ago and started the spotting the next day. I had been cramping like crazy all 10 days and where is the af to show for it! wait...lol I'm cramping again right now as I type this. But I won't be happy til I'm runnin to the bathroom every couple of hours saying "gotta potty!" to DH lol. He knows what's goin on when I say that. And to PL yes it is the Gardasil shot. It's an HPV vaccine. I have cancer running through my family so I took mine. Just finished mine actually. The third shot was hard on me. And you can't get it after you turn 27 so make sure you don't run out of time. As for tracking my O I have had that Ovulite for a while and I'm alright at reading it so I'm going to try that for the first month and then maybe try ordering bulk opk pee strips. Kimmer: those of us still posting here have chosen to stay here. I like it here, honestly. The other boards I've seen too many of. I want to be around a bunch of preggy ladies and hopefully some of their baby dust will sprinkle on me as they pass by =P

Hoping1 - October 29th, 2007 2:11 PM

Hi everyone, It is my understanding that you start counting the first day of bright red blood. The dark is apparently just left over from the last time or something? I don't really understand. I think I'm ovulating again, without clomid so that is good. But it is only day 12. Is that too early? I agree, Teddyfinch. I am hoping this baby bug will come bite me soon! Happy Monday!

Hoping1 - October 29th, 2007 2:12 PM

Kimmer- I would like to at least check out the other forum since I liked talking to everyone. I don't know how to get there, though?
