Jill n Mark- I would ask your friend if there was something you said that may have made her feel that way.. I imagine your best friend wouldn't lash out at you for no reason. Maybe you both need to be supportive of each other- Happy and Nervous together. She may also be a little emotional right now and not really mean what she said. It's okay to be jealous when it's something you've wanted for so long and don't have and others (especially ones close to you) have. My sister in law is pregnant and even though I don't have my own, it's still exciting! I buy her maternity clothes for gifts and have been to her Dr visits with her. I know it's hard but always find the positive in everything. What's meant to be will be. That's the attitude I have to have, because consumming your life with anything is not healthy and only makes it more difficult. Also, could be a barrier in your persuit to conceive. I hope you read this as me sincerly trying to help and not taking it in any way meanly! I wish you all the best and happiness!!! xoxo

hey nwb1977---i finished my first round of clomid a week ago and i also get panic attacks...they were alot worst a couple of years ago and i dont take anything for them just talk myself out of them....but anyways when i was on the clomid for the 5 days every morning my anxiety level definately seemed to be higher. the best thing that worked for me was when i felt it coming on i would just try to relax my breath and think that its just the medicine doing its thing to help me make a baby. it always made me feel better =) good luck to you and i hope everything works out ok!!!

Thank you so much for the feedback! I talked to my Dr about it today. Also the fetility Dr told me that if it didn't work the first round then we could go right to IUI so we'll see how it goes. Thanks again

Jill and Mark, Its normal to feel the way you feel. Its so hard to watch other people not have any problems with getting pregnant. I know I am a delivery room nurse and i see it every day i work. Its very hard, but you keep your head up high and think possitive. It will happen for you , and it will happen for all of us when ever our body is ready... I am very nervous my self, i am on estradiol now and after this i take progesteron vg. supp. So far so good, i am excited to find out at the end of teh month if this first round will work for me , and if not there is next month. keep you heads up high girls, think positive and it will happen. Dont let familly get in your way of feeling frustrated. Baby dust to all!! Love SM 2008

hazlepurr - December 8th, 2008 5:25 PM

hi girls....... so i went to the Dr on Friday to do my blood work to see if i ovulated this month or not. I went ahead while i was ther and asked if i could see at what level my last test came in at at, i was so upset..... they explained that it needs to come back between 3.0 - 26.0 and mine last month came back at 0.6, oh boy i have a long way to go.....this month i was hoping it would be different since 2 days in a row i got a real dark postive which i thought was rally good and we had intercourse 2 nights in a row, and ever since my temp has been higher then usual and i'm still feeling cramps ( is this normal by the way?) so anyway i was thrilled to find out today that my test came back with a 21.6 which is a very positive ovulation test...:) and it's just my second month, ofcourse after years of other things being done but never this, such a simple little thing.....does anyone know what it means if it's more on the higher number, does it really make a difference? anyway for all of you who are doubting clomid (I know i did but it wasn't the actual med it was just i guess the dissapointment after dissapointment) just don't lose hope it will eventually work for you, i just know it will.... so any of you know if maybe the cramps and slight high temp means that just maybe my miracle happeneed? babydust and i will be praying for all of us......

nwb1977 - December 8th, 2008 5:47 PM

How eciting! I have NO idea what it means but it sounds positive!!! Good luck and let us all know!

hazlepurr - December 8th, 2008 6:29 PM

thanks, I am so thrilled and probably getting to excited, but it is so nice after 5 years to see a possibility of getting that little miracle, I just feel like I'm finally one step away...... I hope that when I achieve pregnancy I don't become paranoid with everything cause it'll really make those 9 months last a long time.....I will keep you girls updated... Babydust to all of you....

I have a question ..... i took my opk it's been almost the same color for two days so i'm confused because i don't know if that means i am ovualating or about to. I have never had cramping not even once i went on the clomide so i don't know i'm confused.

mommmysomeday - December 9th, 2008 1:00 AM

Hazlepurr~ I was wondering what cd you are on Im on cd 23 and 7dpo, I have been having cramps to and have been queasy for about 5 days now I dont know if it is still s/e from the clomid or maybe my imagination or maybe even im pregnant im getting sore breasts too but that could be all in my head right? did you say you are on clmid or were, I am on clomid and taking some natural herbs to, so we will see if maybe it worked this month. I am so hoping so, glad to have a friend that is going through the same thing i am, well good luck on your journey and baby dust to you

Kelly - December 9th, 2008 12:05 PM

Hey everyone so i just went through my first round of clomid 50mg. I still haven't recieved my period but pregnacy test came back neg. I don't know if i am talking myself into feeling like I am or if I am and the test are wrong. I don't know why i am so nervous about calling my doctor. What should I do.

akowens - December 9th, 2008 5:41 PM

Hey everyone, i'm totally new to all of this. my dh and i have been ttc #1 for about a year. i am 26 and dh is 27, married for 5 years. i just finished my first round of clomid 50 mg 3-7. i am now on cd 16 and got a + opk yesterday. i already o on my own, but have a 9-11 day luteal phase so my ob thinks clomid will help with my progesterone and such. i had not one side effect from the clomid, but it did make me o about 3-4 deys later than usual. i guess we'll see. just lots of bd yesterday, today and tomorrow. dh's SA results all good. it is so exciting to see that there are other people here that are in my boat. best of luck to all of us on the quest to catch those eggies. how bout any cycle buddies???

hazlepurr - December 9th, 2008 6:42 PM

Deedee: you need to make sure that it's the same color or darker and of so then ovulation would occur within the next 24 to 36 hours, which means get lovy lovy with you hubby tonight. the sperm stays alive in your system for a few days, that's the reason they tell you intercourse same night you get a positive result. good luck and keep us informed ...... babydust... :)

mommysomeday: I am on clomid 50, i have been with a consistant discomfort in my lower abdomen, very tender breasts, a little nauseas, a few tingles in my belly, these could all be signs of pregnancy like you said, but since we want to be pregnant so badly it could also be our minds playing tricks on us or the clomid, in my case probably the prenatals, i do hope that both our symptoms are pregnancy though :) thanks for all your support...... i am so anxious right now though, ican't test until this weekend and that would actually be a little early, but i just need to know and the best way at such early stage would be a blood test which the dr won't do until i'm on at least day 32 of my cycle :(
