~Les706...wow, they have done a lot for you already. I guess it is all depending on ur doctor. Mine gave me Metformin in the beginning of Dec and Clomid at the end of Dec. They done blood work one time and thats it.

**The more stories I read on here the more I feel greedy with trying to get preggo. I have a 3 yr old w/o any kind of meds. And I am stressing about having another one? I feel pretty bad for the ones that don't even have one child. I hope all the different meds and tests will help each and everyone!!
I'm not understading how I got PCOS! None of my family memebers have it. I didnt even know what it was until I got diagnosed with it. The PCOS made me gain a tremendous amount of weight. Around 60 lbs within over a half of a year. Doc put me on the Metformin....been regular for the past 2 months PLUS lost 11 lbs. already!

I would like to know how fast an egg grows a day? what r my chances that my egg grew a little bit. I had my appt last sunday feb1, now i have another tomorrow feb 5. could it have grown a little bit?

thank you ladies. I'm testing tomorrow! I'm so scared of a BFN. My RE was quick and agressive too. At my consultation he did bloodwork and prescribed me clomid that day because i was on cd 5. on cd 8 I had an hsg, cd 14 I had my u/s to check follies and the trigger shot. Now tomorrow will be 13 or 14dpo and I am supposed to test!~ Im so excited but anxious at the same time. I'm so worried that it didn't work. I've felt like AF is going to start the past 2 days but it hasn't. Ahh i'm going crazy. thankfully i will know by tomorrow. The nurse said if I get BFN then test on cd 34 if I haven't gotten AF. We'll see! I'll keep yall updated

les- you are lucky, yes it definitely does make more sense,because i have no clue about my follicles, or even if the clomid is working...hopefully it works the first time for you, that stinks about the insurance only covering the first cycle...hopefully you just need the 1 cycle:)

I tested just now and got a BFP!!!!!!!! wow I can't believe after a year and a half it finally happened. This was my first cycle on clomid 100mg. I took it cd 5-9 and had 2 follies at u/s to trigger. WOW is this real? I will call my RE later today to get a blood test! It can happen ladies!!!! Good luck!

As for me, I went to check on my follicles last night and I have one big one measuring 2.5 (I'm not sure what that means everyone else has 20's and 22's so I am not sure what 2.5 means) but the doctor said it is big and scheduled the IUI for today... But I have a feeling I already ovulated. I had an +OPK two days ago and according to my temperature on fertilityfriend I ovulated the same day. I think I am waisting my money by going today but I dont want to miss the opportunity either. How can my follicle be so big 2 days past ovulation? What would you do?

TO ALL MY CLOMID FRIENDS....i had to giggle today, because as soon as i woke up i came straight on here to check and see how everyone is doing.....i am getting just as addicted to this site, as i am my facebook page..hahah...best of luck everyone.....i envy a lot of you because your doctor is checking your follicles.....grr mine isnt so i have no clue what is going on with the clomid i took....

well my appt sucked again 2day. No mature follicles. But my nurse has to call 2day to see what we r gonna do now. But most likely we are gonna have to start all over,so imma see if i start provira again 2night. i'm so sad. It seems that it is working for every1 else but me. But it was my 1st try on clomid and it was only 50mcg,. so we will see what they say to me this afternoon.

jessi - I'm sorry, that really sucks. Hopefully they will up your dosage. I started out at 100mg and only had one mature follie so if i was on 50 I probably wouldn't have gotten anything either. Hope it works for you the second time around! Baby dust!!!

The last time I was on clomid (days 3-7), I ovulated on day 18 and af started on day 31. Did I ovulate too late? Does it effect the quality of the eggs? My doctor said that clomid makes you ovulate later and your cycles last longer. Is anyone else experiencing this? Also- I went in on my first round of clomid to make sure that I didn't have any cysts but haven't been back to check on my follicles... does this matter?

I GOT MY BFP TODAY!!! ABOUT AN HOUR AGO, I WENT TO SEE MY GP WITH MY BLOOD PREGNANCY TEST RESULTS AND IT WAS A POSITIVE HCG OF 107!!! WHICH MEANS I AM VERY EARLY AROUND MAYBE 3-4 WEEKS!!! I AM ON MY WAY OUT TO SEE MY RE FOR A SCAN NOW WILL LET YOU GUYS KNOW HOW IT GOES!

I wanted to say thank you so much for all you advice and help - clomid worked for me after 4 months so don't EVER give up!!! Fingers and toes crossed for all of you WITH ALL MY LOVE AND BABY DUST SAMANTHA AND JASON AND NEW BUBBYXOXOXOXO
