The last time I was on clomid (days 3-7), I ovulated on day 18 and af started on day 31. Did I ovulate too late? Does it effect the quality of the eggs? My doctor said that clomid makes you ovulate later and your cycles last longer. Is anyone else experiencing this? Also- I went in on my first round of clomid to make sure that I didn't have any cysts but haven't been back to check on my follicles... does this matter?

HEY GIRLS - GUESS WHAT?????

I GOT MY BFP TODAY!!! ABOUT AN HOUR AGO, I WENT TO SEE MY GP WITH MY BLOOD PREGNANCY TEST RESULTS AND IT WAS A POSITIVE HCG OF 107!!! WHICH MEANS I AM VERY EARLY AROUND MAYBE 3-4 WEEKS!!! I AM ON MY WAY OUT TO SEE MY RE FOR A SCAN NOW WILL LET YOU GUYS KNOW HOW IT GOES!

well Good morning,
i am not so bummed out, my nurse called me yesterday afternoon, and she said we were still not gonna cancel this cycle, she put me back on clomid for 5days(100mcg this time) so i have another appt, on thursday Feb12. Hopefully this time it will work. I have a good feeling.
I hope this month is lucky like it has been for other people. Fingers crossed.

Well, after 3 rounds of 50mg, 3 rounds of 100mg, and now my first round of 150mg I finally got a BFP OPK!!!! I haven't had a positive one yet, so I'm pretty pumped up. I'm guessing since today was my first positive that I'll get the big "O" on Sunday. Now I'm nervous. The pressure is on!

Is it better to "get to business" as much as possible over the next 24-48 hours, or will once a day do? Could the test be wrong? I mean, prior to this morning I was getting very faint lines and then this morning it was definately darker than before. I'm just so nervous. I feel like I have no idea what to do!

jessirose - I had my hcg shot on Wednesday morning and my doc told me to bd on Thursday morning and Thursday night. We will bd tonight and tomorrow too just to be safe. I would bd at least once a day if I were you. Did your dh have a sa done?

Hi ladies! I need some advice. Today is my last Clomid 50mg pill. So my DR says wait 5 days then have sex every other day after that!! Does that sound right? How come my DR hasn't told me to test and see if I'm ovulating? When do you do that? I am so confused by all this!!! What do the Abreviations mean? I can't understand some of them LOL. I really want a baby everyone around me is pregnant. Even my own sister is pregnant with baby #3!!! I keep asking myself whats wrong with me ? I have been emotional today and OMG I have been having hot flashes on and off all week too from the Clomid. But its all worth it if I get pregnant. Baby Dust to all ********************

prayn2bmommy-i was trying to conceive for the last year, so my obgyn put me on clomid, because i am not ovulating on my own

andysgirl- i started doing the ovulation predictor kit right after my period ended....i just got done taking my clomid 50 last week...and i just pee on my lil stick everymoring, and i still havent seen my 2 lines which means i would be ovulating...haha i dont understand the adreviations either lol

Hi Ladies! I just wanted to give some hope to those ttc out there! I went in for my annual exam and my doctor gave me the BFP! I got three negative tests at home before seeing her. I was on Clomid 1 month. Just make sure you are positive you aren't pregnant before taking provera! I almost started taking it again when i got a negative test 5 days after my expected period. I figured we should get the ball rolling so we could start trying again. Thank God I waited to see my OB! Baby dust to all of you. Don't loose hope!

~Nikki...Congrats on ur BFP! Wow, this month the baby dust fairy is sprinkling alot! It is awesome to have to many pregnancies! I'm on cd11 today. My hubby got a sperm analysis done today, will get the results back in about a week. Hope things are ok with him...keeping my fingers crossed!! When should I start using the Ovulation Kit? I didnt use it last month but I was certain that I ovulated! But this time I wanna be 100% certain.

hey ladies! i just made an appt w/ my obgyn for feb 17. But i have a question if my cycle comes on like today or tomorrow does that effect my chances of being place on clomid for next month

Les - I took another test when I got home on Friday night and it was just a very faint line, but we bd'ed anyways. I took another one on Saturday morning and the second line was clear as day again, so we bd'ed Saturday morning and then again that evening (although, again the test I took Saturday evening only had a faint second line). Yesterday morning I tested with again another clear as day second line, so we bd'ed last night. The test I took yesterday afternoon had a second line although it was a little light. I tested again this morning and there was still a second line so I think we're going to go again tonight.

DH had a sa back in July and he was fine. The only think my dr told him to do was to take a multi-vitamin with zinc in it as it's supposed to increase your sperm count and make them swim faster (just to even better our chances).

Does anyone know though if taking the OPK's in the morning are better or in the afternoon/evening? I've done both in one day and gotten two different results. I'm just really hoping I'm not reading these things wrong!

jessi - if I were you I'd buy the digital ones. You either get a happy face or an empty circle. Everyone seems to have trouble with the lines (is it dark enough? is it even there?) so the little happy face seems to work much easier. A bit more expensive, but worth alleviating some of the stress of ttc. Good luck - sounds like no matter when you are ovulating, you've got it covered.
