well my appt. yesterday sucked really bad. None of my eggs where mature, but i haven't lost hope because the nurse told me that my estrogen leverls where up, so i do have some eggs maturing very slowly tho. and the lining of my uturas is 8.5 millilitters, so that is could also because that means that ky ututras is getting ready for a embryo(s). so i'm not that bumed out. they gave me another appt on thursday the 5th, because they are going to keep monitoring me to see hpw the my eggs are maturing,. they said they did not want to cancel this cycle becuse something is happening so they want to continue. so i still have have my fingers crossed.

Hey Ladies, I'm going to use this new Feb thread as a opportunity to reintroduce myself. I consider myself still newly married (3yrs) we both had children from past unions but no children together. DH had a vasectomy before we met but after we married decided to have a reversal, that was a long and grueling process.

Fast forward 28 months, with the assistance of two RE's a Urologist, and a whole lot of clomid we gave birth of our 1st child together in march 08. Now we would like to give it one more try.

DH already had 3 children before we met (hence the vasectomy) and wasn't keen on having anymore, but after a little taking and a lot of feminine persuasion he's happily on board the baby train. This will be our last pregnancy :-( so we are trying to make it count. This is why we are trying for twins. I've always wanted to have a huge family, and hopeful with a little luck we'll be holding our little blessings in our arms in no time.

Today makes CD 5 for me, I'm taking the month off while I restock my meds (ran out of clomid) but will continue charting and taking my herbs for her to strengthen myself for the pregnancy. I'll keep you all posted...... Baby dust to everyone this months!

I am on cd 10 ... finished my last round of clomid yesterday (days 5-9) and i start my prometrium on cd 18 and of course the BDing in between. I pray for a miracle for all of us and lots and lots of baby dust and sticky dust to us all

Hi everyone I just got AF on cd 31. I am on my first cycle and have taken 50mg of clomid on days 3-7. Hope this month has a better result. Does anyone have any secrets for making this happen??

Hello ladies!! Today is cd 16 for me and I am also 2 dpo. I took 100mg clomid on cd 2-cd 6 this cycle and opk was positive on cd 13 (1/30) so I ovulated on cd 14 again. That is normally when I ovulate. So now I am in the 2ww once again.

Also, my clomid is up, so I while I know I have ovulated I have no idea how many follicles I had or eggs I have released. At least I know it is one!
DH had a vascectomy reversal the first of August so I went with the clomid to increase our chances before we have to see an RE. I am hoping we don't have to go the RE route though. We are saving money to build a new house and I am starting a new business within the next few months.

DH has gone back for a SA but the dr just checked to see if there were any "live" sperm present and there were. He never said anything about a count, motility, or morphology.

Blessings - what happened after your DH had his reversal?? How long before they prescribed clomid? Did they give you anything else before that? Was it just DH's sperm or were you having trouble ovulating too? Thanks for the info. I just want to understand what could happen for us being in a similar situation.

hi ladies, fatz, i am from the netherlands, but live in ireland. well i am now in the 4ww!!! i cant believe it, cd 41, i didn't have such a long cycle in a year. i really don't know why, i am tired of testing, i went back to doc on friday, he did bloods, but i don't have the results yet. i did have some spotting saturday morning, little brownish, but nothing when i wiped. nothing since then. no sign of af arriving. i am tempted to test, but i just dont' have the money. anyway, fingers crossed. take care gals

hi gals well i started bleeding again. i am so sad right now. it has been 20 months of trying, i don't know why i can't do it this time. i don't have any clomid anymore, it is like it don't work for me. take care gals

Wow, I am so sorry esmeraldausiahon, we know exactly how you feel. I know its hard but try to keep a positive outlook. Sometimes the biggest obstacle is getting our bodies to cooperate with our minds. Sometimes when I'm in the ttc dumps I try some fertility affirmations, it always makes me feel better. Here is one I like...... My ability to produce is an amazing blessing to me, I AM fruitful, I AM fertile and I AM free!

elizabethb24, After my DH had his reversal we went to a urologist to do the SA, after determining his count, he was well above average and we were given the green light to begin timed BDing, My RE didn't prescribe clomid, we did that ourselves to increase our chances
of twins. Even though our ttc issues were primarily the male factor, many many people looked at me like it was my fault we had not conceived. I ovulated normally and was never diagnosed with any particular disorder, I began to act as if there WAS something really wrong with me. Before these ttc challenges I could just trip over a mans (you know what) and get pregnant without a second thought, and then all of a sudden people are throwing terms at me like oh you haven't conceived YET? Oh your overy 35 your over your prime, oh you must be infertile and things like that and after a while you start to believe all this crap. Even after my DH's SA came back with shooting stars we still were not pregnant that's when I decided enough was enough and took matters into my own hands, adn consulted a fertility coach. These are the things I did just 30 days before we got our BFP

1. Went to an Acupuncturist

2. Got Colonic, to clean toxins away from my reproductive organs.

3. Got Reiki/Massage treatments…

4. Listened to a HypnoBirthing meditation tape every night

5. Began taking an herbal regime from tryingtoconceive.com

6. Repeated fertility affirmations 1st thing in the morning and last thing at night.

I plan to repeat these steps to help with our current ttc journey. Last cycle I just popped a few pill and expected the meds to do all the work...... but that didn't work, now its time for me to go back to basics.

Blessings - Thanks for the info. I have never talked with anyone whose DH has had a VR. It is good information and I appreciate it. I think it was about 8 yrs. between DH's vas and the VR. His dr. said right after surgery that there was sperm present. Then they did a SA in Nov and it came back positive for live sperm. They never did a count or anything more than just looking to see if there was any live sperm. I don't understand why they wouldn't do a count but, I don't know.

We have been ttc ever since the middle of August. Part of me thought it would be no problem because of my super fertility and age (24), but that was not the case. I decided to try 50mg. clomid in my Nov cycle. I did 100mg. in Dec and 100mg in this last Jan cycle. I am hoping it works.

I will do one more cycle of 100mg this month if I don't wind up pg and then after that cycle I am going to try without the meds for a few months and see what happens. I don't think we can see an RE until Aug (1yr.) and I hope it does not take that long.

I would love twins because even if I get pg this time, when we try for another one it might be even harder or impossible. Plus DH is 43 and is a little concerned with how old he will be when our children would be in high school. It is silly.

DH does have 2 boys (15 and 13), so I know it is possible. He does not seem too interested in alternative ways to increase the viability of his sperm though. I think he figures, hey, I had a VR and that is enough. I have heard there are some herbal meds that can help and also no smoking or drinking are supposed to help too. WHo knows. I do wish I could go to some RE so we would know exactly what is going on. I take opk every month and know I am ovulating, just not how many eggs.

I am in the 2ww now and will be hpting on 2/13 (13dpo). Hopefully it is a BFP this time. I am very sad and frusterated about the whole thing.

Hey ladies I'm joining in. I don't have anything to report yet I am on cd 10 and I started bding today and using the opk test strip it was negative and I got to the doctor on Thursday to see what the next step will be. Krissy68

Hi ladies--well thanks for posting your stories and updates- It is so great to have people who truly GET it. Sorry for the afs and BFN... It is a frustrating process. I love the steps you went through Blessings.... I may try them.

My story is this: DH 28, me 26. Been ttc 20 months no success. DH has low swimmers- I'm good to go as far as know. DH is on clomid and it has helped. See his uro again in March and will make decision about next step. I am using CBFM this month and hope that helps things, too. Currently CD 16, should O tomorrow if I have been reading past charts right.... we'll see.

Want you all to read this. This is a quote that keeps me going. It says:

Ok how is everyone? I am ok my little Hayden is still in the Nicu for 2-3 more weeks it has been a long grueling hard road. She has been through a lot and I am praying that she can begin too make her own blood and eat normally, and quit having brady/ heart rate dips with low oxygen levels. I just want to give you guys some hop I TTC for 6 months had 3 m/c in those 6 months and then my little preemie before actively ttc I was off bc for about a year and did not concieve. I have been through alot and even found out I have endometriosis but I still have a baby that is healthy just pre-mature I believe due to my chronically low progesterone and maybe also due to endometreosis and I have been told I have PCOS without the cysts. In other words don't lose hope in getting your babies if I can have one you can too. I do want some opinions though my daughter comes home soon. But I would like another baby not only that if I do not ttc soon I may have a hard time because of my condition I may be more prone to miscarriage because my endometriosis may get worse. what do you guys think I should do? I have been given the go ahead to ttc my doc gave me Femara which has been found to be better than clomid and she says I am now about 3 months postpartum and should be ok. She also game me 100mg prometrium to take 3dpo till hpt is taken.

Good morning Everyone.
I hope everyone is doing fine. well tomorrow i go for another BW and U/S, hopefully i have one mature egg or at least some eggs that have gotten a little bigger so that at least they are measureable. They said i had a few growing in each ovary last appt, so i hope that at least one has grown a little bit. I am just gonna have to wait and see. I pray to god, only he knows how much i have gone through and that we really want a baby. I hope that i'll have one this month, maybe that will be our little christmas gift. Oh yea i forgot, my aunt called me this morning telling me that she had a dream last night that i had a baby boy and that she was teaching me how to put it in the carrier, MAYBE that is a sign. Fingers crossed. I'll keep u posted.
