Just an update. As my period from Provera was about to start, I got a call from my dr's nurse on Thursday and she said my pap came back abnormal (for the first time ever) due to low pre-cancerous cells in my cervix. So they are stopping my provera/clomid regimen pronto and pulling me into the office for a hole-punch biopsy next Thursday and once they figure out how bad the dysplasia is they are going to go from there. If it's mild (I'm praying), then they won't do treatment but will start me back on the provera/clomid treatment next month. If it's moderate then there's a few different invasive treatments they said they'd discuss. It's just so disappointing when you think you're almost to the point of hope and then it gets swept right away again. I'm almost starting to feel like somebody just doesn't want us to get pregnant, though dh & I want it so bad, this just keeps happening. Anyone else ever experienced something similar? Still praying for peanut...

ccusack - September 7th, 2008 2:52 AM

Hi, I will be turning 40 next month and my husband and I are shooting for 1 more or 2 if we are blessed with twins. I am on prescribed clomid, 50 mg and should be ovulating next couple of days. Not trying for twins on purpose but would be perfectly happy either way. Basically just getting anxious and nervous (in a good way) about trying one last time before I am too old and looking for others out there with advice. This is my first time on clomid.

Krissy68 - September 8th, 2008 7:22 PM

praying4peanut - Honey, I am so sorry to hear this news I will say a prayer for you and stay positive that it is really mild and you can proceed. Let us know what is going on? Krissy68

Krissy68 - September 9th, 2008 12:53 PM

Krazydaisy666 - How are you doing? I am so sorry that AF found you. I would count today as cd 1 because today is the first day of full flow is this correct? As far as the clomid I normally take mines on my lunch break around 11:30am I would try that if not why not try 6pm or at the very least take it right before you get off of work. You will be okay I don't have any s/e but then again my body could just be use to the medicines. Good Luck and let me know how you decide to take it.
biskz - Welcome to the group and good luck to you this cycle. I have been ttcing for 15 months so we are in the same time frame. I think you will do great this cycle with taking the meds you could be one of the lucky ones and get pg after your first try. I take clomid 50mg on cd 3-7 as well. How many mg are you taking? Keep us updated. Krissy68

worththewait - September 9th, 2008 9:26 PM

Hi girls!! So I think I O'd!!! At least my opk said I did!! I'm a little early in the cycle, CD 13. But hey, I'll take it anytime!! I only got in about 2 days of the Robitussin, I hope it helps! My temperature hasn't gone up yet but I think the opk tells that you should be O'ing whereas the rise in temperature shows that you actually did O. So I'll be hoping the temp goes up soon!!! Praying4peanut, I am SO sorry you are having to be set back a little. But that's all it is, a little set back. And thankfully they are taking care of the pre-cancerous cells...you need those out of your body! I have a co-worker who just had that done, I'm sure you will be back in the game in no time! I'll pray for you!! KAZ - the test?? I hope you have your BFP! Update when you get a chance!! Krazydaisy - sorry about af! I agree with Krissy, I'd count today as CD 1. That's how I counted mine. AF started about 3pm on one afternoon but it was super light but the next morning I woke up to regular flow, so I counted that as CD 1. It was hard to delay the counting cause I just wanted to get straight to my Clomid!! Good luck this cycle!! Krissy - did af show up or are you still without her? I hope she hasn't shown!!! Wow, 15 months...I'm a few months behind you, it's so hard! You are so positive, I know it'll happen for you soon!!! Biskz - welcome!! I am on my first cycle of Clomid too!! Definitely keep us updated on your progress!!! Hopefully you can move right on to the pregnancy boards!!! Good luck!!! Alright girls, gonna go, so good to hear from you all!!! Baby dust baby dust baby dust!!!!!!!!!!!!

KAZ - September 9th, 2008 11:13 PM

Hi everyone sorry i havent posted for a few days i was a little down i tested on CD30 (sunday) and got a BFN then AF started really light on CD31 so i didn't count that as CD1, then yesterday (tuesday 9th) it was 'normal flow' so i counted that as CD1. waiting to start my new cycle on CD3 (thursday). (BTW sorry hope this makes sense im 12 hrs ahead of you guys).--------WORTHTHEWAIT---- sorry to leave you in suspence for three days i was just so dissapointed, like i knew i would be but i stupidly couldnt help thinking i was. Im so glad you Od i have my fingers crossed for you that your little bean(s) stick. ----CCUSAK--- welcome and all the best with your first clomid cycle. ---PRAYING4PEANUT---- Im so sorry to hear about your setback and here i am getting sown cause i got a negative on my first month of clomid. I think i thought that after TTCing so long, that clomid would be a magic cure... ------KRAZYDAISY-- Im sorry to hear about your AF arriving, it sounds like we are both pretty much on the same day? actually i just read it again and if you are counting monday as CD1 then i am a day behind you. Im starting to get excited again ive never had anyone else that close to my cycle b4, it will be nice to have a cycle buddy :) I take it CD3-7 on 100mg what about you?

ccusack - September 10th, 2008 2:05 PM

I finished my clomid cycle 8 days ago. We started having intercourse 2 days ago. This morning I got hit with massive nausea and my sense of smell is ridiculously acute suddenly. Is it possible to have symptoms like this so early or could this be a side effect of the clomid? Please give me some input, kinda freakin out here. Thanks!

KAZ - September 11th, 2008 3:18 AM

Hi KRAZYDAISY yeah i will stay on 100mg for this cycle and nest cycle then go up if im still not preggers. i will be taking my first lot in about 3 - 4hrs... i guess if you are taking yours in the morning we will be exactly the same LOL. Hello to everyone else sorry i haven't got much to say ive had a very long day helping my brother in law pack up his house.

biskz - September 11th, 2008 11:31 AM

i had so many strange dreams last night..is this s/e of clomid?...

HopeForBaby - September 12th, 2008 12:19 PM

Krissy68- Sorry for late reply. I talked to the nurse, she told me by using LH test only is sufficient to see whether I have ovulated or not. But, do you think I should do the Day21 progesterone test to confirm that I have o? My doctor told me that the progesterone level fluctuates and sometime it may not accurate. I am on second round of clomid still 50mg. I wonder I should test progesterone then decide to increase clomid dosage for the third round. Or I should save the third round until I am older, because I thought you can have only 3 round of clomid. Is that true? Can I still have clomid after few years if I completed 3 courses now? Sorry for lots of questions. THank you for any reply.
