actually it was clomephene the generic but it worked just as good i also h ad follicle monitoring and hcg trigger shot and iui. good luck though.

hello i recently found out i have pcos and my dr wanted my husband to get tested b4 i start clomid. so far my husbands test have come back fine,they want one more sperm sample and if it's ok then my dr will start me on it! i'm really excited! and to read the success stories on here really helps!!

why do people use musinex and proseed?

Hello, I took Clomid for the 1st time during last cycle frm 3-7, 50mg-twice a day. I did ovulate on cd 17-18 and got progest. level of greater than 20 but still not pregnant. Now, my 2nd cycle started and i've to take Clomid again during 3-7 days. I dont know y i didnt become pregnant. Me&hus did it almost evryday aftr finishing clomid. We almost thought that we really had a chance this time but i guess not. Did anyone else had the same problem?

Hello all! I just joined this site to give you guys strength and hope because the clomid has worked for me! I also have PCOS and I am currently 6 1/2 months pregnant with our first son! I took 150mg of Clomid and 1500 mg of metformin and on that dose it took me 4 months to get pregnant and I miscarried that baby at 12 weeks, so I went back on Clomid in August 2008 this time I took 200mg of clomid and 1500 mg of metformin and conceived in September 2008 and this baby is doing great! So please don't give up hope and I hope this encouraged someone out there!

HI, I ALSO HAD PCOS AND I'VE BEEN ON 2000 MG OF METFORMIN, I ALSO TOOK 100 MG OF CLOMID ON DAYS 3-7 AND DID THE AI FOR 2 DAYS AND WE FOUND OUT 2 DAYS AGO THAT I WASN'T PREGNANT. WE WERE SO DISSAPPOINTED. ANY SIMILAR EXPERIENCE? I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS WORTH ANOTHER CHANCE TO TRY AI AGAIN?

I took 2500 mg of Metformin and was on 100 mg of Clomid days 3-7. We will welcome twin girls in 6 weeks. I would definately say try again!!!

Whatever you do please don't give up! I promise everything that you go through will be sooo worth it in the end! I took my clomid on days 5-9 but what I realized is that my doctor advised me to test for ovulation on day 10 but in reality I was ovulating on day 7 so my husband and I started trying on day 7 instead and thats the month I got pregnant! 26weeks and 2days with our baby boy! Keep on trying but dont forget to try to have fun with it and look at every month as a new opportunity and I have faith that you won't have many more months of disappointment!
