well my appt. yesterday sucked really bad. None of my eggs where mature, but i haven't lost hope because the nurse told me that my estrogen levers where up, so i do have some eggs maturing very slowly tho. and the lining of my uturas is 8.5 millilitters, so that is good also because that means that my uturas is getting ready for a embryo(s). so i'm not that bumed out. they gave me another appt on thursday the 5th, because they are going to keep monitoring me to see how my eggs are maturing,. they said they did not want to cancel this cycle becuse something is happening so they want to continue. so i still have have my fingers crossed.

Hi there, I've read almost all the posts in this forum (from 2007 onwards) and i really want to thank you all for all the information and the support you all give to each other is amazing and this is why i decided to join and be part of this forum as I know this is a tough time for all of us that's going through this and having each others support really help. A little bit about me ... I'm 25 and my dh is 27. We've been "seriously" TTC for over a year now (and we've been together for almost 10 yrs), I have PCOS and my AF is very irregular (sometimes I skip 3 to 4 months before I have one). My dh and I went to a fertility specialist on Jan 23 and now next tuesday (Feb 10) I'm doing an HSG to find out if my tubes are blocked then I have a follow up appointment on Feb 25 (to get my HSG & sperm analysis results) and hopefully I will then start Clomid. I am sooo excited and hoping that clomid will help me become pregnant with my little angel who I have been waiting for, for so long now. i will keep you all posted as I go on. Just want to let you know as well that you are all in my prayers. I have a small question ... what are the benefits of getting an HCG shot together with clomid?

Mely, Good luck to u, trust me god is with us and it is going to work, slowly but surely,. HCG shot and clomid is what i am doing with timed intercourse. The shot is given to u when u have a mature egg, that shot will release the egg , thenu BD or get an iui, then like 2 weeks later u get a pregnancy test.

i am not so bummed out, my nurse called me yesterday afternoon, and she said we were still not gonna cancel this cycle, she put me back on clomid for 5days(100mcg this time) so i have another appt, on thursday Feb12. Hopefully this time it will work. I have a good feeling.
I hope this month is lucky like it has been for other people. Fingers crossed.

Can I join you ladies ? I just finished my first round of clomid yesterday. I took an OPK today just because I was curious lol ( I know it registers false positives, I just wanted to see how dark it would actually be) It was pretty dark ! I will start officially testing on CD 10 this sunday and then I will be triggering around CD 13. I am pretty excited and nervous at the same time !

Hi Ladies, this is my first time in a forum for Clomid & PCOS, Im 24 and tyring for a year and half to concieve w/ fiance no luck.... I missed a cylce for 3 months since 10/2008 and was referred to a Fertility Clinic and so for i have had some success... iI started clomid at 100mg cd 5-9 & ovulated early i just finished 2nd cycle clomid on 02/09/2009 ans had the GSG which was painful. and had b/w & u/s today and my follies are at 18.5mm the told me to have intercourse tonight an tomorrow and on friday come in for my injection should be at 20mm....Im so scared does this mean that i could concieve? I'm new to this forum however I need advise and support. I have been trying to conceive for 8 years. Begin seeing RE in 2004. Hsg found tubes to be blocked. Lap opened right tube left is still blocked. Now 41/2 years later after trying naturally no baby... :(!!! Begin seeing RE again and after another painful HSG showed condition still the same. Only one open tube. Only difference now is no husband to help. I'm now divorced and single and still trying to conceive. Re suggested IUI, clomid (50 mg) with donor sperm. Anyone with similiar situations or success stories. Any advice would be appreciated. I am so fustrated:(!!!!

Hi Ladies--I want to post on this board along with some others on this site. My story is about secondary infertility. I have been to RE and found to have an uterine polyp--removed last fall. Now on Clomid 100 mg days 3-7. Finished one round last month and BFN. Now currently CD 3 and started next round. DH and I have been TTC for 2+ years for #2. I am 35, DH 37. I will be monitoring ovulation with the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor. I hope this month is the month for all of us. I will keep you posted and I can't wait to hear of your success. I don't have a success story yet..BUT i started seeing a fertility specialist on Feb 10, 09 after being diagnosed w/ pcos 3 yrs ago and ttc for 2 1/2. I had many dr's appointments where i told them i wanted to get pregnant and they just wouldnt help. i went from doctor to doctor to find someone who would help.finally at 23y/o i found one! she sent me to the specialist. I took Aygestin for days to start a period. I started today! (oh boy am i feeling it...bleh!) but im excited becuz ill be taking 50mg Clomid starting friday 2/27. Then on 3/6 i take a clear blue easy ovulation predictor test for 3 days. then i go in on 3/9 to have a ultrasound done. and they might inject me with that medacine that helps release the egg.. so im OOBER excited!!!! and praying that this is the one... im soooooo excited!!! ill keep u all posted!
These forums have helped me and definitly encouraged me to KEEP TRYING! After so long i got so frustrated and was just to the point where i said, WHATEVER! if it happens it happens if not i guess it was meant to be! and all the time i would come online and read success stories...and EVERYONE around me was having babies.. and i decided my turn! so ill be sure to keep u guys updated becuz i know that the good news from everyone definitly encouraged me to keep going!

lwjl - Congratulation on you getting started on your journey. Please keep us updated. I got and see my fertility dr for the first time on Monday but I will be on cd 10 so I don't think anything will happed for me this month but one can be hopeful so I am staying positive. I am also 40. I did have some blood work done on cd 3 to check my FSH and E2 and the results are FSH is 8.4 and the E2 is 53. I will update you on Monday after my appointment have a nice weekend and I will talk to you soon. Krissy68

i got a postive ovulation test this am, sad thing is my hubby was gone for work already, so i am worried, now, how long does Ovulation last? we did bed last night so i read that it stays there for several days, but i am still all worried that we didnt bd this am and we could have missed it, does anyone know how long ovulation lasts?
