Afternoon ladies...well I was over a week late and AF showed up on Friday. I'm so depressed! This was my last month on clomid so I'm not sure what my dr will say now? It is really starting to get hard to stay positive! Hope you all are doing well! Baby dust to all!!!

HoPe - March 16th, 2009 1:01 PM

i know how you feel keric200... its like you do everything right and still no bfp. it is very depressing, if clomid doesnt work for me, i will ask the doc about the trigger shot. dont worry, there is always a way!

jusdee - March 17th, 2009 2:24 PM

i took clomid 100mlgm 3-7 and now currently pregnant with twins

Mari24 - March 20th, 2009 6:09 PM

I have a question if someone could help me please! I just finished my first round of clomid and it didn't work this time around. I only had one mature follicle and was taking the clomid days 5-9.
I told the nurse that this next round I want to try taking the clomid days 3-7 because of all the success rates I've read and heard about and because more follicles are produced days 3-7.
But she told me no because I would have to have injections (she didn't specify what kind) and there office has everyone do 5-9.
That's the reasons she gave why I couldn't take the clomid 3-7.
Is it true that if you are taking clomid (under doctors supervision) days 3-7, you also get injections?
I still want to take the clomid 3-7.
Will it not work without the "injections"? (if there are any. I havn't heard any of the 3-7 ladies mention anything about injections.)

LindaS - March 21st, 2009 1:18 AM

Mari24~~ Sounds to me like she had no qualified reason to tell you this, so she chose to blow smoke up your butt :( There are times when some of the ladies have needed injections, but never once have I heard/seen/read where any injections are based on scheduled days of clomid being different. She just doesn't see that she can give you a reason to question her authority...that's all! She's full of it darlin'.

As I said, there are reasons for injections with some women, however, this has nothing to do with taking clomid on CD3-7. *hugs* Oh yeah, and look at the amount of women who have doctors RXing their clomid and they never supervise their monthly cycles. Heck, even those on this particular thread that have it RX'd and UP, they are taking it CD3-7...how many of them have had to have injections solely based on the dosage days??? None that I've ever seen. Good luck and keep us posted!

Hey ladies, I tested early on Wednesday it was negative. I really wasn't upset because I am not sure if I want this anymore. Good luck ladies.

HoPe - March 21st, 2009 12:51 PM

hi ladies.
I start my clomid 50mg 2nd round tonight, its cd 5 today.
good luck to everyone!

Mari24 - March 21st, 2009 4:20 PM

Thank you LindaS. I thought it didn't sound right. And I know she wasn't referring to the trigger shot. After I go in to make sure my ovaries are ok, I still want to try days 3-7. I'll keep everyone posted. Good luck and baby dust to all!

LindaS - March 22nd, 2009 5:09 PM

You are very welcome Mandi *hugs*. If it helps, I conceived our last pregnancy (twins) by using clomid on CD3-7, and without any help of injections what-so-ever :) Good luck love, and know that sometimes the office nurse is not the best person to make these personal/professional decisions for you. If your actual doctor has no problems with switching(heck, even if he/she does, I'd change it anyway), then his nurse should not have an issue with it either. If she does, tell her to mind her own business. I know this may sound "mean", however, this is your body and she does not have a medical degree in the same capacity as your doctor does. Just as I know everything a surgeon does, because I have to know, however, I did not attend schooling for as long as he/she did....though I can do the surgeries without them, I am not qualified/degree to do so,KWIM? Anyway, some nurses just get under my skin. Especially when they blow smoke when it comes to patients.

Good luck darlin' and baby dust to you!!

Well Af was suppossed to show today and she didnt. My temp was still up this morning and I took a 2nd HPT and the 2nd line was def darker than Fridays. So I think I am preg - I am in shock and I dont know if I will really believe it until I hear my dr tell me. But I think I have finally gotten my BFP. I will call my dr on Tuesday and see when he wants me to come in. Like I said I am in shock and it doesnt feel real......yet. Although I am already having the panic of what happens if something goes wrong and I have a m/c. My mind is going a million mph...LOL

Thank you to everybody who gave me all the positive words and thoughts they have helped me more than you will EVER know. I will keep you posted on whats going on.

Baby dust to all!! :)
